The shower is a wet room but other than that, no issues!!

Amazing location in the heart of stone town, we arrived in the morning from our flight and were able to check in early and even have breakfast on the roof. The bed was very comfy, rooms were big and the roof terrace was amazing, breakfast was also yummy and the service was brilliant - Queen was very accommodating, I would definitely recommend for a couple of days in stone town

Not a hotel negative but Google maps took us twice to a different location, a school near the harbour. Weird.

This was a comfortable hotel in a central location in Stone Town. The staff were terrific, collecting us and our bag when the taxi couldn't make its way to the nearest street. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great and the rooftop breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious.

Noise from nearby mosques at early morning time

The place was very nice with the warmest hospitality. The location was perfect as we looked for a hotel near the airport and close to old town. Muhammad helped us and was very nice as we needed to leave early morning, he prepared for us fresh coffee and some takeaways.

Not that I minded, but the beds were more hard than soft.

I loved the beautiful views from the roof top, the beautiful breakfast provided by staff. This included falafel, fresh fruit and varieties of potatoes.

There really is nothing to complain about.

Very central location, really nice and clean rooms, amazing bathrooms. Authentic Swahili and super tasty breakfast served on the rooftop terrace! Host and staff were also really friendly and helpful. Our stay couldn’t have been better! Definitely a 10 out of 10!!

Jabry was amazing and organised all the trips that we wanted! All the staff were so warm and, happy and friendly! We so loved our time here! Queen was also extremely friendly and worked so hard to ensure that we enjoyed our stay!

The moment we set foot in the hotel we were met with smiles and welcoming staff. The room was perfect for us. Comfortable and clean. The hotel is centrally located and the breakfast is hands down one of the best we have had, served on their cool and spacious roof terrace.

Initially the bed was very hard but they fixed it for us :)

The breakfast was wonderful- authentic food and the best staff. The location was very central and near to anything. When we arrived the bed was VERY firm/ hard but the following morning we asked about it and the owner explained that they were new mattress that hadn’t been broken in yet. He provided cushions that were much better and we stayed two more nights. Taxi was also convenient and well run.

The accommodation itself is centrally located in Stone Town, a brand-new, clean, and well-equipped hotel. It has all the important comforts, plus a lovely rooftop terrace with beautiful views over the city. The hotel also has its own little shop that stays open in the evening, as well as a charming souvenir store for gifts and keepsakes. I will absolutely be coming back here! Bathrooms are a bit basic. The hotel is being renovated in parts maintaining the original architecture, as they get accommodation earnings, if you’re looking for a local business with the community at heart you should choose them (if stairs are not a problem for you)

In the pedestrian central area with a refreshing rooftop terrace with a view. Rooms are large and conditioned. Had a wonderful chat with the owner who’s passionate about the history of the building and Zanzibar overall. Tasty local breakfast (not the usual boring international stuff). Great tours organised during the stay and good restaurant recommendations.
