When food and drinks are part of the all inclusive then the quality, quantity is poor and also the drinks are watered down with poor presentation. Towels are old and full of stains/marks.

We felt the food could be a bit better. We had a half board package as we didn’t want to load up too much three times a day. So a sandwich at lunch was all we needed. But slimy lettuce and tasteless fillings were a little disappointing. Also, we are residents of Tanzania and I earn shillings not dollars, so having all prices quoted in dollars with no option to pay with a Tanzanian shillings bankcard is crazy. I had to send for cash in a taxi🤷🏽‍♂️

Other guests slamming doors, poor Wifi connection and the electricity kept tripping at night. There was also construction work being done one one of the blocks next to us, even on the Sunday.

This I think is our 4th time staying here…not sure if the catering/kitchen management has changed recently, but this time the quality of the food and its availability was not as it used to be. As a frequently returning all inclusive customer, this time was disappointing as far as the food was concerned. But your shining star is the two gentlemen that run the pizza shack…it was THE best pizza we’ve had since living in Tanzania!

There was a lot of noise from a generator near the room during night. The air conditioner in the room worked well, but was noisy.

The rooms are old and in need of renovation, specially the shower!! The food is oké but for the price the ask I would expect much better offer! Also the check out is at 10:00!!! The stayed in 8 locations in Zanzibar and nowhere I had such an early check out and they went to clean my room when I had not even checked out yet! This was handleded by the reception seriously but still does not change my bad experience!

We were not lucky with the weather, and many activities we booked the hotel for (water sports) were not available during our whole stay.

Nice resort with plenty of activities beside the sea, there is a shuttle transfer included from the hotel to Zanzibar to go in town. Beautiful gold course, also you have an option to book a class with high professionals.

I stayed here a total of 3 weeks. I stayed in 5 different rooms. I would not recommend staying in E and D block. The rooms smell of mould because the air con is not maintained. The other blocks were fine although the air con is very noisy. Ear plugs recommended. The large pool could be a bit cleaner, myself and others got ear infections and I accidentally swallowed some of the water and became very sick. Hotel is far from other places, you need a taxi.

I stayed in 5 rooms here over 3 weeks. All the rooms over looking the sea in blocksE and D smelt of mould from the air conditioning.It’s obviously not maintained. There was no problem in the other blocks but the air conditioning is very noisy, earplugs recommend. The large swimming pool was often full of insects, I also got very sick by accidentally swallowing some of the water. Myself and others also got ear infections. You are give small bottles of water every day. So much waste of plastic.

The staff was very friendly and helpful but very slow. You order one soda drink it takes them 15 mins to get it.
