Breakfast and dinner can be better, to have more choice. As it’s next to the fish market, boys playing football, yelling during the night. On the picture it looks like you have a pool view with private beach which is not private people can come and annoy you. Or other people, can take the bed front of your swimming pool. If you are looking for something private, it’s not.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel! Everything was excellent from start to finish. I booked a package that included breakfast and dinner, and every meal exceeded my expectations. Special thanks to Chef Kilash, who prepared delicious meals with great care and creativity. Also, I truly appreciated the restaurant supervisor, who was very attentive and ensured everything was perfect during my stay. What made the experience even better were the privacy and luxurious amenities — a private pool, a beachfront location, and a spacious, comfortable room. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and elegance. Thanks to the administration.

On a lot of request our check out time was extended from 11am to 11.30 by the owner But staff started to know from 11.10 am

Perhaps it would be good if the hotel would build a mini beach bar on its beach, and if the contents of the beach were expanded, it would be a better experience.

We really enjoyed every moment of our stay at Safaya Luxury Villas. I would especially like to highlight the kindness of the staff. The food was excellent as was the cleanliness of our apartment.

- balcony full of insects which makes impossible to enjoy it, - villa number 6 close to the fish area, super bad smell, - there is no beach area at all, what if your villa is not sea view, not worthy!!! - food could be improved a lot, - no beach bar, just boring restorant, - no facilities provided, it was written to us that they provide bicycle, kayak.. when there, they had just one bicycle plus one broken kayak!!! I can’t believe that a luxury place can’t even provide minimum facilities! ETC

We had a wonderful time for our honeymoon. Villas are clean, comfortable, and well equipped. But the high of Safaya is its staff. Very professional and helpful. Special thanks to Chef Kailash, who catered to our needs.

While sitting at the beach there were Too many people hawking items for sale. No bar , we knew it was a non alcoholic hotel after we booked. But there are plenty to beach clubs within walking distance.

The bed could have been a tad bit softer but that's just based on my own preference.

I had an incredible stay at Safaya Luxury Villas—hands down one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Whether it was checking in with us, accommodating a last-minute room change, or holding our bags on the last day, everything was handled with care and genuine hospitality. The location is absolutely beautiful—right on the beach with stunning views and your own private pool. It’s also conveniently close to many attractions in Nungwi, which makes exploring super easy. The villa offers a range of activities that were perfectly curated, and I highly recommend booking all your excursions through them—it made everything seamless. The food was top tier, full of flavor and beautifully prepared, and anytime we needed transportation, the hotel was quick to arrange a cab for us. I have zero complaints—just pure appreciation. I’ve already recommended Safaya Luxury Villas to friends heading to Zanzibar, and I’ll definitely be back myself. Highly recommend!

We came to Safaya for our honeymoon and weren't disappointed. The staff were welcoming and the food was exceptional. Though they experience power outages, they run the generator to accommodate for this and mosquito spray the rooms. Our private pool was well maintained and looked directly out on the beach, which is on the quieter side of the island. They helped us arrange transport for us and we're available for any questions or suggestions. Would highly recommend for a private getaway or holiday reset.

Nothing as such except that one must be aware that they don't serve alcohol at the property. However, there are many beach bars around the resort.

Beautiful villas on a stunning beach. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the food was excellent! Chef Kailash went out of his way to make the dining experience memorable. Simba the cat was really cute and friendly. We will miss him. Definitely recommended staying here.

Electricity goes off every now and and then but that’s all over. Other than that it was amazing loved everything about the stay.

The room, food and service eas amazing. They never said no to anything that was requested. The chef was kind enough to ask us how every meal was and even added baked beans on the menu for us every morning. The hotel staff did everything and more to make our stay as good as possible. They cleaned the pool when needed and had a WhatsApp service and responded fo all our needs.
