The hotel is amazing. Great location and one of the best beaches in Zanzibar. The room was clean and comfortable - and very spacious. The staff were very friendly, and always smiling. The food was pretty good with many options. I particularly liked the palm trees on the beach. There are no sun umbrellas because you don’t need them. Whenever you felt like relaxing at the shade you could always move your sun bed under a palm tree. There was plenty of space and it gave our vacation an even more exotic feel. I also liked the ocean bar - great atmosphere and relaxing African music. Overall a great stay at Riu Jambo!

AustriaThe only negative point for me is the selection of vegetarian / vegan dishes. There may be a total of 4 restaurants in the hotel but only one can be used for vegetarians or vegans. The variety of vegetarian dishes in the main restaurant is also very poor - sometimes there is not even a vegetarian salad all day long. There is definitely still room for improvement.
Rarely seen such a well organized hotel of this size. The value for money is excellent. The staff in all areas are competent and friendly. They are happy to accommodate special requests and everyone is always helpful and above all very attentive. Neema at the Hakuna Matata Bar, for example, remembered on the very first day how we would like our drinks prepared - top! The beach with the natural shade of the palm trees, mango trees etc. is really fantastic - the staff who are responsible for the sunbeds are also always helpful.

Great food options for vegetarians too. The chefs made special vegetarian dishes on request. We also had a birthday celebration with eggless cake specially made for us. The staff provided exceptional service throughout in the dining hall, at water sports center and at all the bars. Sunset Cruise with Matthew, Maria, Abdul was well organized and a lot of fun. Shout out to chef Uttam, chef Skanda and Sarath who took care of our dietary restriction with utmost care. Thankyou!!!

Amazing vacation – everything was great! We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The reception was helpful, and the staff were always kind and smiling. There were many bars and restaurants, with fresh and tasty food. We really enjoyed the Asian restaurant, the Italian one, and the chef’s special. The all-inclusive service was excellent. Even when I needed a nurse, the help was quick and professional. The beach was clean and beautiful. Special thanks to the receptionist for helping with the Wi-Fi We had some problems with the Wi-Fi, and the internet was not very strong. But one of the receptionists was extremely helpful and kind. She took the time to help us connect all our devices and did her best to solve the issue. We really appreciated her support – thank you! Everything was on a high level. We would be happy to come back again. Thank you!

I don’t even know where to begin. This place was 10/10!!😍😍 everything was beyond exceptional!! I’ve never stayed at such a beautiful hotel before. The variety of food everyday, breakfast, lunch and dinner was amazing and it was all inclusive in the price. Even the all day and all night drinks and some of the activities all included. The staff were extremely friendly. This was a real all inclusive experience. I loved my time there with my friends and I am most definitely coming back. The manager was also ever responsive to any complaint we had and for that I was so happy and grateful. Amazing amazing time!!

HungaryThe native vendors on the beach seem friendly, but you literally cannot cross 20m from your sunbed to the sea without 2-3 seller jumping at you, greating from afar and walking with you, they are the definition of persistency. No matter if you turned them down 10 times already. Waving and talking to you while you're in the water or lying on the beach - felt almost harassment
The whole resort is superb. The location, the placement of the restaurants, bars, pools, the whole environemnt is clean, maintained in a professional manner. The food is excellent
