The staff was great! Muhammad and the rest of the staff were very very welcoming (they gave us small pole pole wrist bands that give you discount for a lebanese restaurant near the beach) and friendly, always ready to help us and flexible for personal requests (Muhammad negotiated the price for our taxi and gave us free bottled water once the stores closed) ! The breakfast changed every morning so it was nice to have variety (different types of eggs, bread, sausages, salad, fruits, tea) . There was a power shortcut but it's not the hotel's fault. The power shortcut was on the whole island, so there was no light for 1-2 hours. The staff gave us lamps for our rooms while we were wating for the light to come back.

The bathroom could have one or two shelves by the sink and there could be a smaller table in the room.

Excelent staff. The room was simple but clean (cleaned every day) and cozy, equipped with a large fridge/freezer and AC. Breakfast was tasty and sufficient. We had two issues during our stay, one with the shower and one with the air conditioning, both were fixed immediately. We didn't notice any noise from the street when we wanted to go to sleep. Also there is a possibility to park the car next to the house, but the road to it is bumpy. Considering the price, the value for what we got is excellent.

I think the location is the best. It's near the beach Nungwui, near restaurants, rock bar and other beach restaurants, and the three main streets (the most main connecting villages with Daladala, the tourist shopping street and the main local shopping street with fruits and vegetables). The staff is really welcome, kind, smiley and always ready to help you or answer your questions. The price is excellent. The breakfast is a buffet with coffee, juice, jam and others. The room was cleaned every day. Our room was above the street and it wasn't noisy at all. There is really nice to backyards with places to sit, cradle and hammock.

One point which could be improved is the WiFi, it’s slow, usually we were going to the restaurant to make a video call or book the tours etc using their WiFi.

The breakfast is basic, but for the price you pay it’s reasonable. The staff is extremely helpful and cheerful, always ready to help. The house is located 10 min walking to the beach. Cleaning was done every day)

The wifi was not available in the room due to poor strength. This was an inconvience as we needed to get out in the hot weather to comminicate. Breakfast was very basic and could be improved with different things per day. Though the fruit was great. The water pressure was not good for a shower as it trickled but the bathroom was beautiful.

On two occasions i had plumbing issues in the bathroom, however the maintenance guy was readily available to get it fixed. The water pressure in the shower was also very low throughout my stay.

The hotel did surpass my expectations. The location is great and quite close to nungwi beach. The staffs where especially kind and willing to offer assistance at all times. The breakfast was also tasty and filling, however i would recommend a variety of dishes be included. Electric kettles could also be made available in the rooms as this would allow guests to enjoy a hot beverage at any time without waiting till breakfast.

Just kind of weird vibes….seems like it’s under renovation or change of ownership perhaps. Some random weird things like stains on bedsheets and found a piece of apple skin stuck to the bathroom counter. Rooms distributed in weird locations. Breakfast was unfortunately pretty bad. A big issue was also that they didn’t even have drinks available to buy (like not even water). However, based on the price I paid for a spacious private room within walking distance to the beach, I think it’s somewhat fair that I got what I paid for.

It was very affordable, and the main front desk person was very kind and helpful. The hibiscus tea upon arrival was a nice welcoming touch.

Our room smelled quite damp. They didn't have enough towels for us to have a towel each and the ones we did get were all quite old.

The owner was very responsive and answered our questions and helped us to book a taxi and boat trip before we arrived. It was really well priced for the area, the room had air con and there was a decent breakfast included.

Being located near the beach and some clubs, sometimes it can be a bit noisy at night, but this can be fixed with earplugs. Also, the first night I arrived at 5 AM and I found the bedsheet was torn and stained, making a bad first impression. They did change it the next day, when cleaning the room.

The hotel is situated at 10 minutes walk from the beach and in the night they have a security guard so it feels very safe. The breakfast is good, bufet style, with eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables etc. The staff is very friendly. Also, the room was clean and they cleaned it every day.

The owner was so friendly, and I absolutely loved the friendliness of the staff. Specially the receptionist, she was so easy to talk to. Felt like I was really at home here specially being on my own. Definitely value for money in my opinion , i had a beaut9ful room! Loved the bohemian feel of this place. They came and cleaned daily and sprayed for insects, for the price I was really surprised!

There is more than one shared kitchen and it was unclear which one to use. The shared kitchens needs some new equipment and tools. Our spacious room would have been perfect with a table and chairs to sit comfortably - thank you to the nice staff that provided a temporary solution for our stay on request.

Central position in Nungwi, nice building and beautiful interior design, our room was spacious and bright, very kind and helpful staff that was available 24/7, excellent quality-price with breakfast included. Very well taken care of by the owner.

The sheets were not clean in the first place but the hotel owner Muhammed, who is a very nice guy smiling all the time, had them changed with the new sheets. The location was not showing the right place.
