There wasn't much space to store belongings in the dormitory, except along the side of the wall, which was already narrow to begin with. Also, the fan and light in my capsule was not working.

Clean beds, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was basic but healthy. Nice to have a pool, a big garden and plenty of space in the common areas to relax.

I like the receptionist, that lady is sooo beautiful and charming, I did little mistake while booking but after arriving there, the lady handled everything perfectly.

Nothing! This place is love! Honestly, I couldn’t have had a wonderful experience of Dar es Salaam for my first solo trip alone if I hadn’t stayed here

The location was perfect, close enough to the beach and other destinations. Breakfast was simple but filling and a good way to start the morning. The hostel was super clean and staff friendly and helpful. I loved that they had a pool though I didn't get to swim and enjoy it this time. Thank you for allowing me a late checkout at no extra charges. I will definitely be back when I visit Dar again.

The dorms are too small for 4 beds (imo). The top bunk should have a curtain all the way up to the roof (so it's shielded from light and the ac (it gets cold). No functional locker. The toilet didn't always flush.

It’s a perfect stay in dar es salaam Masaki is a very safe place with great restaurants and locations. The pool is great, the place is quiet and you meet many new people

We arrived at the hostel at 4am and had no problems checking in. We also got breakfast at 6:30 am when we left. Normally they don't serve breakfast that early. They were very flexible and helpful even though our own schedules were very strange. This is not a fancy hotel, but very comfortable and perfect for us. Very clean place and the AC worked well.

There is a big rat in the kitchen. it comes out when the house is quiet. so scary. also too much flies in the kitchen although the cleaners always keep, it clean.

The breakfast was nice, the sfaff was welcoming, The owner even helped us to cook Christmas lunch for all guests so that we dont dont feel islolated.

I unfortunately had a terrible experience on my last night, nothing to do with the facilities just crazy hostel guests I suppose. One of the guests came home very drunk in the middle of the night and he started urinating outside the window of the shared hostel and on the floors of the bedroom. I wish there was a 24hour available security personnel to help report situations like that because the hostel completely locks up so it’s impossible to get help or even leave the property early without prior arrangement.

The location was excellent, close to ammenities and the beach.

Some of the visitors were erratic and made some noises. But overall, it was a nice experience. The interactions were also great.

The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. The environment was excellent and close to many facilities. I will recommend it to anyone as a value-for-money place.

Our room was open when we arrived. Party guests had used our private bathroom, which needed to be cleaned again! The shower didn't have warm water because of a pump problem, which was known in advance but guests weren't notified! Very steep and narrow spiral stairs to the first floor. You're not allowed to wear shoes inside the building, the floor was often wet and dirty from people walking from and to the shared bathrooms and toilets. Pools area looked a bit abandoned. For a digital nomad destination, comfortable tables and chairs to work at were missing.

Good value for money. Safe neighboordhood with lots of embassies and facilities (gym, supermarkets,cafeteria) around in walking distance or maximum 2-3 mins Uber drive. Spacious double room with private bathroom. Well equipped shared kitchen. Nice shared lounge and terrace areas. Good wifi connection.

Breakfast could be improved.

The beds (pods) are comfortable and no noisy structure. Cleaning is being done very often. Coming home in the middle of the night - the security was ready to open the gate for me.
