The location is very convenient if you want to walk around the town. The staff was kind and helpful. There is free coffee and tea available.

The room was inconvenient (e.g. there is no where to hang a wet towel). Our sheets were stained while the bathroom was not cleaned for as long as we stayed (one and a half day).

    Central location

Located on a street where taxis cannot enter. Need to park elsewhere and walk to the hostel. Extremely narrow stairs and impossible to take luggage up (no help offered by the staff either). Bathrooms are shared (male and female) with no hooks to hang your clothes. Overall, disappointing.

The staff were helpful, and the location is perfect - within walking distance to the night market and Stone Town. The room was clean, and during my stay, I was the only guest there.

There is nothing to dislike. Few things maybe there, but not worth mentioning.

The staff is super friendly! They helped me negotiating with local parties to have much better prices than the agencies. I could tours directly with local guides (prison island, jozani forest, dolphin snorkeling in kizimkaze). Very good experience!

Shower place is limited in space.

Even though it’s a hostel, it feels like a hotel. Amazing service, staff and location!

Great location in the heart of the old city, close to the beach and boats, restaurants and shops. Clean toilets, big rooms, nice staff.

Some stairs might be a problem for some people.

*Great location and comfortable dorms. *The bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained with hot showers available. *The staff were friendly and helpful. * Complimentary tea and coffee

*Only one small hook on the back of the ladies shower door leaving nowhere to hang things. *The pricing information does not state the 5% card surcharge - this should be clearly stated with the information regarding card payments. *Too much light comes in through the windows making it hard to sleep well. * The electrical points on the beds don't work and not all beds have reading lights.
