Hotel is central in stone town about 5-10 minutes away by foot from all the sights. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Rooms are spotless and quiet even though you are in the center of it all. Really appreciated the unlimited free drinking water.

The shower/bathroom is a wet room, so it will be wet on the floors until it’s evaporated/dried up!

Perfect place in Stone Town for my stay. I loved the decor and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff with friendly and attentive. It was a nice touch to have various seating areas around if you want to read/chill with a book outside of the rooms and the cold/hot water dispensers on each floor was a nice touch. I was a solo traveller in room 12 - 5 this was perfect for one person and I loved the balcony.

Located at the heart of Stone Town's narrow streets, it is a great point for a walk or a tour at the old city. Excellent breakfast. The stuff is very helpful. Especially Bianca.

If a reasonably-priced comfortable stay in the heart of Stone Town is required, the Sheba Boutique Hotel is worth a stay. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast is good with delicious coffee. Rooms are understandably a little small but clean. Climbing the narrow stairs could be a problem for some but help with luggage is readily offered. Thanks again to all who made our stay most pleasant.

The hotel is excellent. In the heart of the historical Stone Town, the staff very friendly, the room (with a balcony) very nice, the bathroom way above average (spotshine clean, spacious, very good water pressure). Good breakfast.

Being an old property, one of the windows in one of our room did not close, which made the room quite humid and noisy. The wifi also did not work in one of the rooms.

It is a beautiful, old property in a great, however slightly noisy, location. The property itself has a lot of character. The staff were wonderful and welcoming, and the breakfast spread was incredible!

There was very little hot water for showering and the room was quite dark since there were only two little lamps lighting up the large room.

The room was very noisy. This particular room was on the ground floor next to the road so the hooting of motorbikes and people talking was very loud. The bed was also very creaky.

The first night I was on a low floor and the noise was horrible and it was impossible to sleep. Dennis, the manager, switched my room and I didn’t have any other issues. Be sure to ask for a higher floor.

We really loved the place and all the traditional decorations. Staff are very friendly, they accepted a very late check in after midnight due to our flight being delayed, also we left them the luggage after checkout for a quick tour before going to the airport. All was good. Breakfast excellent.

Charming and welcoming stay in Stone Town Shaba Boutique Hotel has a warm, authentic atmosphere that fits perfectly with the charm of Stone Town. The building has character, and everything was clean and well looked after. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making the stay feel easy and relaxed. A nice touch: you’re often offered a cup of delicious hibiscus tea – small detail, but very appreciated.
