The hotel Bellissimo is a sweet "bon bon" in Stone Town. A hotel furnished with beautiful style and great taste where you will find the atmosphere of the colonial islands of the past. Perfecty cleaning and functional rooms. Very comfortable bed, soo it worth mentioning. A very nice rooftop terrace for the morning breakfast. Very attentive and collaborative staff. Rating 9.

Overall the Bellissimo hotel has been a great surprise. Located in the middle of Stone Town, it’s in a great location to explore the city. The hotel layout is very pleasant and the restaurant offers good options to eat. Finally the staff is very kind and available to help.

The stairs to the roof top restaurant were a work out. The aircon was quite noisy and was leaking.

The location was excellent as was the staff. The roof top restaurant had a great view over the top of Stone Town. Bed and pillows were comfy.

really enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace — the setting was lovely. However, the service was quite slow, and our order kept coming out wrong a few times until we eventually gave up on asking for corrections.

Wonderful Stay with a Beautiful Rooftop Sunset View! I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the rooftop area at the restaurant – absolutely stunning in the evening! It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal or drink while watching the sunset. The view is truly breathtaking and adds something special to the whole experience. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you enjoy great service and beautiful evening views!

Just a note to the owners: the request for 5% on credit card payments, by regulation of the Central Bank of Tanzania, it is no longer allowed for businesses to charge customers 5% on credit card payments, since we also had to eliminate it in our restaurant, it would be better to eliminate it here too to avoid problems. Also because someone could report them for this.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel, very nice and furnished with care and class, spacious rooms with extremely comfortable beds, bathrobes, slippers available, bathrooms with style and with all the amenities. Upper terrace with an incredible view of all Stone Town to have a breakfast with a wonderful view of the ocean and the real Stone Town.

The hotel is really beautiful and clean with comfortable rooms and balcony. The aesthetics captures the stone town beauty perfectly. The location is close to everything. You can walk to the Forodhani food market and Darajani bazaar. The staff is so friendly and kind. Shout out to Panther who went out of his way to make our stay comfortable :D

As vehicles cannot enter the medina, it is a bit of a hassle to go/leave there with luggage.

Just renovated, in the city center very close everything and in the souk. Ideal to visit Stone Town for a couple of days. Very nice people, beautiful rooftop, breakfast ok.

My room had in front a bar where people were watching a match. Too noisy, but the staff provided me with plugs and where available to change my room

I saw meny ants at the reception. The hot water duration was a liitle bit short for me(10mins or so).

Breakfast was great with the view from the rooftop. And the room was amazing. It's brand new and I really loved the decoration and interiors of the room. Functions like AC, kettle and mirros in the bathroom seems latest model(Chinese one though). The stay fee was not so affordable, but I really satisfied with the stay.
