The location was at the corner of Nungwi so it was much quieter which is ideal however the beaches were less pretty

Everything! I had the queen room, it was excellent in terms of size, aesthetics and the jacuzzi in the balcony. The hotel bar has more food options than the restaurant onsite. The staff have been excellent with their service and hospitality!

Not close to main action in Nungwi but able to get a cheap tuk tuk. Breakfast alternates daily between a la carte and buffet and I preferred the a la carte menu. Rooms are a bit small and dark.

Nice layout with 2 pools - fresh water and salt water. Breakfast is good. Rooms are decent.

The beach boys and souvenir sellers were relentless. Not the hotel’s fault at all, but it got to be too much, so we spent our last day just relaxing at the hotel instead of heading back to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel — it was lovely, and the staff were even lovelier. The room was comfy and shower provided lots of hot water & great pressure. The food and drinks on-site were delicious (highly recommend the guac and poke bowl!). THe resident cat was an added bonus. The hotel is located next to the Nungwi Aquarium and the beach and you can easily walk to them.

Definitely recommended. We had a really good time. Our room had a small issue but they offered us an alternative one. When we asked if we can have a single bed instead of a cot/camp bed they replaced it to accommodate our request. They helped with arranging our excursion to Mnemba Island where we had a great time. Food was great as well both in the hotel and in the restaurant next to the beach. Staff were really friendly and helpful and ready to assist you every time. Nice surprise upon our check out were the coconuts that they gave us for our way. We left with some really nice memories

It's a little bit off the beaten track, but distance is short anyway to all that's going on in Nungwi. Can't really fault anything in particular.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with excellent facilities and a great breakfast. Location opposite the beach is amazing but you wouldn’t know how close you are from how intimate it feels once you are inside the walls. The beach bar serves excellent food and offered a great honeymoon package for us including a decorated table by the beach front, prosecco in the room and a couples massage.

I didn’t like that there wasn’t a fridge in the room as the previous place we stayed in was cheaper in price and had a fridge in the room which was very useful for us in our previous stay.

The breakfast had a buffet on Wednesday and Saturday which had an abundance of option and fresh goods. The rest of the days you could choose two breakfasts from the restaurant on the resort which was so yummy! The two pools are beautiful and spacious.

I think a fridge should be provided in the rooms without the charge, other than that nothing.

The room was beautiful, the jacuzzi was really lovely in the evenings, it was clean, breakfast was very nice, staff extremely helpful, the tuk tuk was very handy when wanting to explore and very affordable in comparison to taxi prices. I would definitely come back!

Nothing but the area is a little walk to the busier area and when the tide is high the back streets are a bit scary as no street lights but it’s still very safe.

Would have liked a mini fridge in the room to cool down drinks. Sockets were also very difficult to use with UK plugs, Our plugs would not go in easily, and was very stiff. Location is a little away from some of the main nungwi elements but we enjoyed the short TukTuk ride to town - some tours left from the beach a couple of minutes away from the hotel which was nice.

Pools were very nice to swim in and a lovely environment, although the greenery made it difficult to easily find the sun during our visit. Room was clean, nicely decorated and spacious, bed was large and comfortable (altough a tad hard). No issues with connection or hot water. The balcony hot tub was fantastic and a super addition. Food was nice - evening meal definitely better at the beach front as there is more selection. Breakfast selection was alao good. Loved the presence of kitties all of which were very polite and enjoyed some love. The waitress was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Getting a tuktuk or taxi was easy and quick. All staff were helpful and friendly.

The insects! It’s a huge problem. We really liked the blend of the greenery into the place its really really good however you need to somehow control the insects especially near the restaurant and the pool because it was pretty annoying and disgusting.
