It’s a bit far from everything , you need to take taxi to go to restaurants and other stuff. No hot water in the rooms, the pool is really small.

Enjoyed our stay here. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, and the terrace had a beautiful view of the ocean. The breakfast was tasty (provided in a restaurant nearby). They additionally provide a parking spot for a car which was very convenient.

The electrical outlets need big help. They seem to be old and it's hard to plug things in properly. The mattress in my room was hard, but Julia immediately arranged for a mattress pad to be delivered and I was able to rest much better.

The location is perfect with quick access to the ocean and restaurants and activities within walking distance. All of the staff is very responsive and helpful, especially Bony & Julia. Although redundant (only 2 options), the free breakfast at Mahi Mahi was also good. The rooftop deck is really nice as well...great spot to watch the sunset.

We had a fantastic time at Aluna Beach Apartments in Zanzibar. The place is in a great location — just a 1-minute walk from the beach, which made it super easy to enjoy the beautiful coastline every day. The staff were incredibly lovely and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their warmth and hospitality really made the stay extra special. The breakfast was also really nice, with a good variety and fresh options to start the day right. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Aluna Beach Apartments to anyone visiting Nungwi!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! Even before we arrived, I was in contact with Bony at the reception — he was incredibly helpful, always responded to my questions quickly, and made sure everything was smooth upon our arrival. During our stay, he went above and beyond to assist us, especially with our lost luggage due to the airline. He contacted the airport every day and kept us updated, which was a huge relief. Julia from the management team was also amazing — so warm and welcoming, greeting us with a big smile every day. She did everything she could to help us and made us feel truly at home throughout our stay. Her kindness and support really made a difference and added a special touch to our trip. Thanks to Bony and Julia, our trip felt even more special. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and cleaned daily. All the staff members were genuinely friendly and made us feel at home. Bony is a really fantastic guy, who can help you out with everything you want and you need! Super location next to the beach and breakfast in the nearby beachbar was delicious!

I loved that the apartment was close to all activities I needed to do i.e the Aquarium where the tortoises are fed from. Also the hospitality of the guests especially Leon the care taker was so caring.

Unfortunately the location is not the best since there were reconstructions going on and it was very noisy, also it is blocking the view from the balcony. Also, the beach in front of the apartments is not a nice beach. Full of seaweed with high and low tides. There is much more beautiful beach just a 10-15 min walk.

The breakfast was featured in 2 options, with different variations of egg dishes, fruits and fresh juices, though it became a bit repetitive after a few days.

I stayed at Aluna Beach Apartments for 5 nights, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location was stunning right on a pristine white sand beach with crystal clear waters. The sunsets were magical and worth the trip alone. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated in a blend of Swahili and modern styles, and always spotless. I especially loved the private balcony with ocean views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the tropical heat. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable.

The lighting in the room was too poor to read.

The appartment is beautiful! Decorated in natural wood, very tastefully. Has a stunning terrace, with almost 360 view and a jacuzzi we used at down. The Manager, Security, Cleaners, they were all very friendly. The location is very good, not in front of the beach per se but also not amidst chaos.

Many (power) failure of the electricity and WiFi interruptions, but maybe is normal in the Nungwi location (considering it's Africa).

Overall the stay was very comfortable. The hotel is new and very nicely furnished. The hotel staff resolve the challenges quickly after informed about it. Last but not least special thanks to Leiyo, who was always helpful and cheerful, making our stay at the hotel memorable!
