Reviews of Angels Hostel Taipei Ximen

I just like the bed was very clean and smells good. The staff were very good. Helpfull the location was perfect at the heart of Taipei. Ximen area. Everything nearby.

The bathrooms and toilets it's outside the hotel. The gustes have to hold the card key to open the outside door to go to the toilets. I have very bad experience one in the middle of night I opliged to go the toilet. I go outside the room and forgot the card key. I have to go back again to bring they key. Its was really complicated to use the toilets

If you’re a young traveler then maybe this isn’t the place. There aren’t any young people here. Just locals on old chubby white guys

I liked how convenient it is to places and sights in Central Taipei. The staff are also very helpful and nice. They all speak English. The dorm bedding is comfy and smells nice. The air-conditioning is at the perfect temperature. The other guests are respectfully quiet inside the room. I like how they have items like mini and big towels for rent. The bathrooms have free body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Overall, I had a pretty awesome stay.

The bathroom sinks and floor could use a little more cleaning but it's tolerable.

location is superb

Toilets are outside the hostel and hence we need to get toilet paper from the hostel and go outside the hostel for toilets. Cleaniness in the common area and shower room needs improvement.

Overall, everything was organized.

The staff was rude and acted as if you were interrupting them whenever I asked for something. The guys wanted to flirt and chat with their female coworkers and not be bothered by actually doing a job.

Relatively good quality for a low price. Good location - at the city center. Facilities are ok - access to a fridge, water dispenser, lockers etc. The staff speaks English fluently.

3-storey beds. It's not comfortable to climb every night to the highest level. I don't like also the toilet separated from the rest of the hostel and no toilet paper inside (you have to take it from the corridor).

Common room is directly outside of the bedrooms, with a tv placed against very thin walls. I’m not a light sleeper but had to buy earplugs otherwise all you hear is every single conversation and the tv all night. The showers stank, and the toilet you have to remember to bring your own toilet paper in. I found this hotel had more bad qualities than good
