Checking good. Free towel upon asking. Great as free washing machine use. Beds comfy. Dorm on the small size but OK if people are tidy! On the minus side - the area for guests very tiny with a tiny dirty fridge. The kitchen sink vile/dirty for x3 days, only cleaned on Thursday when the restaurant part to be open friday to public. A/C only in dorms. fan only in sitting area and A/C in dining area only put on when restaurant opens. So makes for very uncomfortable humid relaxing.

Everything here is amazing but the most amazing is the host herself. Lovely, friendly and helpful person. Thanks to that you feel comfortable, like home. It’s literally the best place in all Taiwan with such a good prices for bed and for private room as well. Guests here are friendly and the atmosphere is nice. There’s so much to do and night time is peaceful so you can rest easily. Seriously amazing experience ♥️

The owner is so kind & helpful. Favorite stay in Taiwan. Still a bunch to do even if you can’t hike in Taroko. I rode a bike along the main road + nearby cities and had more than enough to see + do! Plus free washing machine + cute pets!

The bathroom can get a little stinky/musty but it’s expected from humidity + a bunch of rooms sharing 2 bathrooms. Also there is no AC in the common area which can get a bit uncomfortable so you can’t really hang out there

Peaceful, minimalist and very practical.

Location, closed to back station with eateries and cafe, a grocery beside the hostel Room is clean

Neither self check-in nor reception available at normal business time, told by other guest to contact the owner Shower and toilet should be separated at 1 st floor as well as dehumidified, always wet and an undesirable smell

Great location and wonderful hospitality offered by the owner of the hostel, Angela. Impressively clean and well equipped with all what a traveler may need. In addition, it is a great place on getting a good advice on “what to do and see in Hualien besides Taroco gorge.”

The hotel owner is very nice, the location is great. But it is very noisy and the curtain doesn't filter the outside light. We could not sleep...

Cozy common space. Have got a dog and cat. There is a piano and guitar which sometimes the owner plays calm music :)

Air conditioner was moldly and imparted a bad smell in the room. Additionally, the animals were really cute but they were so dirty that they made the whole hostel smell wherever they were

I loved my stay in this hostel, I had a single room that was incredibly clean and comfortable, which was surprising given how affordable it was! The atmosphere there is very relaxed and the owner is amazing! Plus, she has the cutest pets ! I recommend!

Opposite the station. Comfy beds and washing machine to use free of charge

You receive a message to say don't arrive before 3pm as no one there. I arrived at 4pm. The owner didn't arrive until 8pm lucky I found the volunteer working there who showed me to my dorm. Asked if I could use a glass and wasn't allowed as it was a water glass and not a glass for beer and the glass would smell after use and she was stood right next to a dishwasher. Not very well advertised only a small sign outside on the road side

Super clean, close to train station. Very cheap. Dog was amazing.
