Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe sound insolation is not very good. The property dose have rule for quite hour after 10pm which helps. There is not much to eat or see around the property. Best to have your own transportation to stay here.

Great little hotel close to the train station. Friendly owner and cute cat. Our large room was on the 4th floor, very comfy beds and quiet. Great shower/bath with all the amenities you need. There was a fridge and a kettle in the room which was useful. Great location for the train/bus station and for taking walks in the hills behind.

United StatesNo elevator, and it was very difficult carrying our luggage to the 4th floor. No breakfast is provided, and there are almost no restaurants in the area. Would be nice if owner provided some information on where to find food/restaurants if not wanting to take a taxi several miles into town. Down comforters on the beds were too heavy and warm for the climate.
The bed was comfortable and shower was good. Decor was nice and the room was fairly large. Location is very close to the train station.
