I booked two separate rooms and one had a spectacular view but the other didn’t, I just wanted to know that beforehand.

People there were so nice and really helpful! The breakfast was heartwarming and healthy.

Really wonderful property just minutes away from Jiufen old street. My husband and I loved the seating area in the rooms with the beautiful view. The proprietress was so friendly and welcoming! The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were very accommodating of my preference of a vegetarian breakfast.

Breakfast is ok. Westernized sandwiches. Beautiful presentation though and it was pleasant to enjoy the food with the view. Like other reviewers mentioned, there are stairs - no elevator. Just 1.5 flights so it really wasn’t a bother. We planned ahead and left the bags we didn’t need at the lobby.

Check in was easy. The receptionist was warm and got us coordinated with the parking that came with the room. It was my first time there and I didn’t have an appreciation for how nice it is to have parking during the peak tourist hours. View is stunning. Short 5 min walk to the touristy street but felt quiet when we return to rest. We liked being able to come back to the space and enjoy the large patio throughout the day and evening.

The location is perfect, 2 minute walk from old street, the staff are so so lovely, friendly, helpful and welcoming, the view was gorgeous and the room was spotless, and everything top spec in the bathroom, great water pressure and plenty of hot water.

Freshly made breakfast that was accommodating of dietary restrictions (ovo-lacto vegetarian)! We enjoyed breakfast and coffee in the back of the property overlooking Jiufen and the sea. You can also choose to eat indoors. Room was large and clean with an amazing view of the sea and mountains. All staff were friendly and welcoming.

We have to carry luggage to the third floor without elevator so pls be careful if you are not in the condition to carry heavy stuffs via stairs.

The staff was the kindest we have ever met. She was so caring and considerate. The room is basic but clean. The view from the terrace is beautiful. Location cant be beaten. Breakfast was ok. It was clear that they made all efforts to prepare it to our taste. And yes, free parking. Not obvious in this area

Nothing! This is a little gem in Jiufen.

Really happy we found this homestay. We only stayed for one night, but the owner was very friendly when we checked in, and the room was spacious and had a beautiful view. We really liked that the room had a sitting area too. Great location very close to the old street, but a little bit away from the crowds. The breakfast was filling and tasty too, all staff very polite and friendly.

There were not enough storage areas for hanging clothes and drying towels. Either you hang towels or clothes. There is not enough space for both. We had the 4 bedders.

We love the view from our windows. It is conveniently located along the main road. Short walk to bus stop and the main street. (2 or 3 mins) It was clean and comfortable. The toilet was well equipped. Love the heated bidet. Hosts are very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was filling and wholesome. Nice place to chill and relax. Great tar painting displayed . Will absolutely come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were exceptionally lovely and friendly - even helping us with a restaurant reservation at the last minute. The breakfast is really nice and fresh. Really good size room and very comfortable bed. And with an incredible view - especially enjoyed the raised seating area overlooking the view as well, a great way to relax. Location is really good too, really easy to access the old street.

The B&B is conveniently located - a couple of steps from Jiufen Old Street. As the only occupants there, we were given ample space while feeling well looked after. Decent view overlooking the sea

If i have to say, no elevator. You have to carry your luggage to 2nd or 3rd floor. But i don't think you can find any airbnb there with an elevator.

Great location, easy to get to the location if you have big luggage or drive. 5 mins walk to old street. Excellent services, very informative host and he is a great tour guide too! highly recommended.

They don’t have sleepers and the stairs are steep, need to be very careful.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, told us stories during breakfast and helped a lot with local information. The location is super. Easy access, 2 minutes walking to bus stops and interest of views. The view from our room and the back yard is terrific, worth a million!

They have no elevator but the staff are really nice. They arrange for us 2 room in the 2nd floor when we ask cause my member team have leg pain. We can put big luggages in the hall also.

The location is great, in the entrance of the Jiufen Old street, 2 minutes walking from the bus station from Taipei. The breakfast included in the price and it is really good comprising fruit, sandwich, boil egg and drinks. They even provides breakfast for vegetarian. The staff are really nice. The facilities are new and modern. The view from window are great.
