Reviews of Golden House (Ruifang Railway Station)

Everything! Place was within walking distance. The hostel is quiet. Facilities were rich, there is a kitchen and lounge area, luggage storage etc. Place is relatively clean.

The staff was speaking very fast in Chinese and I only understood half of it.

That was for me the best hostel so far. Everything clean, so much was provided for free (teas, coffee, earplugs... And I got my period, and they provided me pads) and it was very comfy...

Had a wonderful experience here, and met amazing people (both staff and fellow travelers). The location is superb with bus stop just outside and railway station at an easy walking distance. The staff members are very polite, helpful and speak good English. Overall recommend this stay for day trips to Shifen, Jiufen, Keelung, etc.for easy commute

Great value for the price, good location next to the bus stop for buses going to Jiufen and Jinguashi yet away from the crowd & noise in front of Ruifang Railway Station.

TWD1,000 for 2 nights per pax Introduction of the place as there are just some things you might not remember that is required by the property Use of the communal space on lvl 3 and 1, would be better if lvl 3 had a basin since it has a fridge and microwave but any washing/rinsing required will need to go back down to lvl 2 for the communal toilets.

10-bed room was not properly insulated from the weather, the tiny window is kept open for ventilation but lets the cold in. It is still cold even with it closed. Curtains/Dividers for certain bunks are not wide enough to cover the space, especially for the upper ones where there are beams on the ceilings 3rd level communal space lacked insulation against the weather as well so it was very cold to stay in this area.

This place was awesome! Convenient location brighter in the train station, it was very clean. I also loved the way the bathroom was designed, where the sink, shower, and toilet was all separate. So you never had to wait. I was there during the winter and it was totally empty, I think maybe the room would feel a little small if it was totally full, but it really was quite fine. The hostel reception was really nice and he spoke a little English too so I was happy! They also let me store my bike inside though I don't think there would be space to store more than one bike.

There isn't heat in the room (doesn't bother me at all, I come from a cold climate) But if you need to be warm, you might not like it. Also the walls are quite thin (again didn't bother me but might bother some people).

Near train station

It was just perfect: clean and d very calm. And vey nice stuff. It’s a small hostel, very familiar. Very comfortable sofa 😉

Bus stop is right out side the front door and there's a little breakfast spot right across the street from the bus stop.

I love everything here. The cleanliness of this inn is exceptional. From our bedroom , bathroom , hallway, common area are so clean and odorless. Feels like home . I will be back to my next visit. And the also the cheap price and good location.
