The location is walking distance to train station..

I book a dormitory room and I didn't expect that I was mix with male roommate,which I was not comfortable to sleep.There should be a female and male room separated.

Close to the train station, staff were lovely!

One bathroom for the whole place (the other wasn’t working) and it had a funny smell the whole time

The price is not high and it is very central

Loud Noises the whole Evening and even till 3am. The mattress is very very hard. The bathroom is okey, but a lot of private things in the bathroom. No window in the room. Very small room.

The property is near 7 11 convient store so awesome

Staff were friendly but had little English. 711 and laundry very close to hostel.

The owners would enter the room without announcement. They also turned off the AC on the bedroom because they were cold right before bedtime. If you're looking for the cheapest room in Hualien, it's good value but basic.

I arrived a little late, close to midnight, and the staff accommodated me. I was so grateful, what lovely kind people!

Localisation is really great. 7 eleven next to the building and not far away from the bus and train station.

Staff not really welcoming. Equipment (electrical outlets) are outdated and don't work. (i had extension cords all around my bed but they did not all work.) The staff came one morning while i was sleeping to fix things that were not urgent. i had arrived late and they came early to push my bed and make noise in the room the 2 nights i stayed.

The air conditioning worked well (important, because it was very hot outside). In the living room they offered hot water, coffee and tea.

It is actually a house on the ground floor (in fact, they offer to use a bathroom that is inside their house), at the entrance is the living room of their house. Our room was on the first floor and there was only one bathroom for an entire floor, meaning you had to wait to get in. The walls looked like paper...you could hear a lot of noise from outside. The room needs some maintenance, the chair and table were very worn out and the sheets were very old and smelled of damp. The towels they gave us were different, a blue one from Decathlon.

For the price it was very nice.

The only downside was that the lobby smelled like cigarettes (if I understand it correctly it’s okay to smoke in the lobby). But the rooms didn’t smell at all, so not a major problem.

Price, cleanness

The Chinese lady is the warmest and most helpful host I have met . She has set some rules but it's all good rule . Like quiet after 11 pm , take shorter shower etc . She did her best to find out what we need .A1 hospitality!

I enjoyed the stay. reasonable price. The host is nice.

Owner seemed less tolerant of foreigners while Chinese had freedom to do what they liked.
