Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandWe couldn’t use the spa/pool because we didn’t have a swimming cap. They do not rent to guests and make you spend money and buy at the hotel gift shop which is overpriced. Staff at the spa/pool are not friendly. We noticed and pointed out there were other guests that looked like gangsters who didn’t have swimming caps inside and why they are allowed when we are not. They just said Meiguanxi. A bit unfair treatment.
Room is clean and spacious. Hotel provided free afternoon tea, cocktail, and access to spa/pool. The room had welcome snacks, water, local coffee which we really liked. We also really appreciated the kimonos in the room as we have not encountered this service in Taiwan before. Front desk staff and restaurant staff are very helpful and friendly. They can speak English.

Hot springs and the swimming pool was very nice, and the free afternoon tea for guests was great.

SingaporeStayed in a deluxe family room which had 1 shower and 2 toilets. But only 1 had a bidet.
Believe this is the only 5star rated hotel in the city. Buffet, many options, great spread, variety of condiments. Make your own waffles, fun. 2x 7elevens within 100m. Great view if you are high enough.

AustraliaOutside Swimming pool has green mould on the tiles. The indoor facilities where there are hot springs and indoor pools were very old. Some buttons don’t work. Definitely it needs renovation.
Big Beautiful and comfortable room with a nice view of the city. Free parking. Free activities such as billiard and table tennis were great. Nice rubber flip flops.

Israel1. Not much dining options - you cannot have afternoon tea in the lobby, they send you to the next door 7/11. 2. The hotel location - it's pretty isolated. 3. I had the ABSOLUTELY WORST massage I have ever had in all my years of travelling. Was accused by the therapist I was uncomfortable with the visually challenged people (didn't even realised that he was), he was very forceful even though I asked him multiple times to be gentle. I cut it short by half for the very first time in my life.
Room size, comfortable beds.

TaiwanLater than usual check in time of 4:00. The hot pools were cooler than we expected. We were not told that there was a hotel shuttle that went to the middle of town, so we spent a lot of time looking for parking when we got there using our own car. So suggest that it is part of the welcome information.
There were swimming pool, spa and child play areas which our grandchild enjoyed very much. The room was big and clean but old. The breakfast was very nice with great choices of all kinds of food and plastic dishes and cutlery for kids. The ATM downstairs was quite handy.

TaiwanThe hotel has thoughtfully prepared a wide range of guest activities, which are very attractive. My wife participated in a nighttime yoga class to help with sleep, and the kids really enjoyed driving electric cars on the track.

AustriaThis hotel is for sure not a 5 star hotel. It urgently needs an intensive refurbishment. Everything is outdated. At the swimming pool (which is large) you find pool beds from wood with no cushions on it. The restaurant looks like a hall at a railway station. A very big breakfast buffet but mainly chinese food. At a 5 star hotel one can expect a bid
The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly.

FranceThe building and the facilities need a little refreshment, some of the jets in the SPA were not working, the carpet needs to be changed soon. The matress was a bit hard for our taste.
There are a lot of things to do in the hotel, a SPA, a game room with poolroom and arcade machine, all free of charge. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choice. The room was clean and comfy for our stay.

FranceIt is 15mins taxi to downtown so not practical for dining out. There is nonetheless a dumplings restaurant less than 10 mins walk away that is fantastic and very cheap. The massage was a very strong massage. No facial/ skincare treatments available.
The service was excellent. Good shuttle bus service to the train station, good and clean indoor outdoor pool facilities, hotspring bath and water jets,, 2 kids play area (one with books and toys another with ballpit/arcade games). Breakfast with a lot of choice however some days may be busier than others due to the tour operators. Good bedding and fantastic bathroom. Great baby bed and baby Bathtub/baby bath products and baby bottle sterilising machine.

TaiwanThere is not enough parking. If they are busy you have to park outside in a parking lot next to the hotel. One of the rooms we stayed in spelled of cigarette smoke. The water pressure was really low. No bedside plugs for phones.
The location is good, if you are driving. The staff was OK. The beds were comfortable.
