How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe hotel is just opposite the rail and bus station very convenient for exploring the region and town. Breakfast has a lot of options, very good. They provide a laundry in the basement, what is very handy for travellers . A lot of food options around the hotel. In the bus station you have the visitor information centre, they hand out maps and advice
The staff was overall good but with very limited English that makes the communication a bid difficult. It's hard to find the entrance door, there is no sign, just a big grey metal door that opens automatically if you stand close to it. If you run a chain hotel you would think they advertise themselves.

I thought this Hotel has a very good value Money when i booked IT but actually i got what i payed for or even less. Pictures are over promising, everything Looks very used. Already in the Elevator IT smelled musty and the room did as Well. There IS a noisy dehumidifier and i was shocked how much water was there every day. Water boiler did not Work. Also the treadmill did not Work, but even If it would have i would not use it because it was visibly rusty and located directly beside guest rooms.

Verified review+ Perfect location, next to the train station. Also good restaurants around + Breakfast was very nice, loads of choice + Clean room + Very comfortable bed, good size for tall people as well + You can borrow bicycles for free (but see negative point as well)
- Bicycles were not in a great condition, hard to ride them (especially in the warm weather). The hotel didn’t have any tool to adjust the seat - Drying machine didn’t work properly, had to go downstairs 4 times in the late evening to throw another coin in and still ended up hanging the clothes all over the room

Our room looks run down with mold on the walls. Heating function of the air conditioning system does not work and we are left cold in the room at 20 degree celsius. Shower takes 5min to heat up and there is no heating of the toilet seats.

Room：Not provided toothpaste, toothbrush, shaver， paper bag/plastic bag, Breakfast：food selection very very limit. Hotel front desk staff help us to arrange 08:50 AM for eating our breakfast, when we arrive to the restaurant, all food is finished, 2 restaurant staffs not helpful too, face look unwilling. When ask to refill the food, just inform us finished.

Verified reviewClose to the station and bus stop. Easy check in process and the place was generally clean.
The room was absolutely freezing and air con could not be turned off. Staff said it’s centrally controlled. We sucked it up for the night but it ruined our stay.

Verified reviewClean rooms, quiet, wonderful breakfast all for US $60.Bathrooms are very nicely laid out with the sink in the middle the shower on one side and the toilet on the other. Breakfast is quite extensive with a good variety of Taiwanese dishes. Beds are firm and comfortable for a double room. You can walk from the train station in 3 mts. Night market is a 30 minute walk or 5 minutes by Taxi for NTD $120.
Nothing to complain about.
