How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe hotel is ideally located, close to major attractions and amenities.
This hotel is nowhere near a 4-star standard. There's no Wi-Fi in the rooms — you have to go to the reception area, which is barely air-conditioned. The rooms are outdated, with no tissue box, and glasses are left out on the counters without any protection. The thermal insulation is terrible, and the air conditioning blows directly onto the bed, which is far from ideal. Soundproofing is chaotic, and the housekeeping is disappointing — no change of sheets between days, and no refill of hygiene products. The pool is only open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the staff in charge of excursions is overly pushy. Worst of all, the security staff were rude and outright insulting. And that’s just the beginning. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

Verified reviewWorst hotel you can ever go to! Just don’t!!! We arrived at 13h under the blazing sun (it was over 40°C in Hammamet two days ago) with a baby, only to be told check-in is strictly at 14h. Fair enough — but we were not even allowed to wait in the empty lobby. Instead, we were forced to wait outside on the street, along with other guests. No shade, no seating, no compassion — absolutely unacceptable. There’s no parking, and they even block off the space in front of the hotel with chains so you can’t even stop briefly to unload luggage. Imagine trying to manage that with a baby in the heat. We had requested a cot a week in advance, and had even received confirmation — but of course, there was nothing in the room. We had to bring it ourselves with the employee. The mattress was so disgusting and of course, no linen! The food at the restaurant is disgusting, the wifi not working and you’re not allowed to have more than one card per room. So if you’re not going to the room at the same time, you have to search for the cleaning lady and tell her to open the door!!!!!

Verified reviewWe were very surprised with the quality of this hotel. We booked this because it was a cheap option compared to other hotels in the area so our expectations weren't very high. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and served a drink while we filled in paperwork. The rooms we had were very clean, decorated with flowers and towel designs. Bar fridge and kettle with coffee in the room. Not many other guests this time of year so lots of space near the pool. The best thing about this hotel has been the food and the animation team. We've had problems before with getting sick from food in multiple other hotels in Tunisia but this hotel we have had no problems and the food has been great quality and selection, we look forward to each meal. Animation team are funny and engaging and try and get everyone involved. We were skeptical because of mixed reviews but I highly recommend this hotel I can't fault anything we even extended our stay
The music can be repetitive during the day but that's to be expected

Verified review• We loved the food. The hotel restaurant offered great variety of dishes for all meals and made sure all guests had the possibility to eat any dish - during 9 days vacation I did not witness them running out of any dish. For lunches and dinners they served at least 2 red meat dishes. And most importantly everything was delicious. • We loved the beach. The hotel has private beach with sunbeds that are free for guests. The water was crystal clear - virtually, on days with good weather there were not even any seaweeds or stones. • The stuff is professional and friendly.

Only problem, I'd say, there wasn't strong wifi. We did not get any wifi in the rooms.

Verified reviewEverything about this hotel was outstanding! The location is perfect, the services are high-end, and everything is kept spotlessly clean. The food was also excellent. What truly stood out, though, was the staff – incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Special thanks to Amin at the reception and Said from the activities team – they really made our stay special. The only minor downside was the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms, but everything else was so great that it hardly mattered. Highly recommended.

Verified reviewNothing. Had an awful experience from start to bottom. Pictures are misleading, room was dirty, blankets are old fashioned and super dusty. Toilets were old and facilities need updating. Got bed bug bites on my legs and felt so itchy all over!
The lady at reception tried to over charge us x3 the price then booking.com’s price. She messed up, and then had attitude when we tried to get our money back ( which we had to pay for) to have our money back because of her mistake. Staff are not friendly, very attiudey. Spa was horrible as well - worst experience I’ve had in my life! So outdated, crusty & unsanitary!!
