How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

While the infrastructure and pool are nice unfortunately the details are not. It s sad as the hotel has great potential but for example the mattresses are bit old, you can see the doors are not maintained, etc. Still it’s a decent hotel if you don’t have high luxurious expectations
Very good location, beautiful infrastructure, very kind and helpful staff. It’s near to all touristic areas

The air conditioner has leakage issue which compelled us to use a bucket to collect the leakage water from the air conditioner. The room arrange to us is a bit far from the main entrance.
The breakfast included in the room rate is ample and huge selection of food provided. There is a balcony in the room which is ideal to hang our clothe and hang out after sunset. The restaurant staff are very helpful and offer professional hospital services, while the security in this hotel is high, you need to gain access or leave with the gate security to help you the main gate.

In the night (Around 10PM) an agent came and opened the door directly, when I asked the reason: He mentioned that he was bringing towels.... At 10PM after we got the room for more than 8 Hours.....he brought towels....It was weird for us. That should be double checked by the managers as the story does not add up.

The spa wasn't open but this was probably because their weren't many guests staying. A coffee machine with fresh coffee may have been better than a container full of coffee for the entire breakfast serving. Everything else was good.
A lovely hotel that is large enough to get lost in! Good size rooms and the pool was great.

Air conditioning in room was no good, noise from a barking dog from neighbouring property was a problem.

The hotel is outdated, requires improvements. The price was quite high for the services offered.
The hotel is quite far from the city, in a quiet area. It is rather a resort for families. The dinner, for which we've paid extra, was of good quality, unlike the breakfast (included).

A beautiful hotel hotel that is a perfect stop for a tour around the Tozeur lake. It offers the quality of every El Mourady hotel I've been at in Tunisia. A great meal buffet and good amenities. Perfect for resting a rider between a braap and the other.

The breakfast buffet felt and tasted like discount. They ran out of pastry and baguettes more than once during our stay. The deck chairs by the pool was dirty.
Very nice, clean and large pool. Mostly helpful and serviceminded staff. Good cleaning in the hotel room Calm and quiet surroundings. Nice evening and lunch buffet.

Staff was incredibly unfriendly and seemed annoyed at having to help. The water was unsafe to drink so we went to the bar (the only place to get water since you can't leave the restaurants with food) to get a bottled water, waited for 15 minutes while the staff talked. Took our arabic speaking party member complaining to the desk manager for someone to come assist us. Afterwords the staff glared at us every time we they saw us. They also have a strange rule about no guests period, even tho the guest was my wife (staying with her family in town). We were scouting this hotel for a wedding and I would not recommend it for wedding, convention or any other kind of stay. The pillows were also horribly uncomfortable. Cleaning crew does a decent job tidying but do not clean under beds where garbage from a previous visitor remained for our entire trip.
Breakfast was the same thing every day. Very little variety. One main course and a couple snacks

Coffee at breakfast needs improvement. And that’s being kind. Pity that the hammam and gym were closed.
Beautifully situated, large, slightly dated but well kept hotel. Welcome with a smile by the lovely Basma at reception. Huge room, comfortable bed, powerful shower, silent airco. Lovely little balcony, quiet. Huge and very clean pool, nice and fresh in the desert heat. Friendly staff.

Breakfast was very poor. The hotel is overdue for an update and a lot of maintenance needed. Would not recommend hotel myself unless deperate for a place to stay.
The staff were nice and helpful. Nothing else to recommend honestly.

Romm, bed and the toilet are not clean.. the towels smell enormous bad.. wood side for the bed was spotted ( coffee or blood). The toilet floor is stained. Shower nylon dirty.
