I loved everything about this place. The design, architecture, décor, staff, food and location! Helpful and friendly staff, especially Amine. A wonderful place to relax and explore Djerbahood. I miss it!

Pillows are not great, but ok. Wifi could be improved, if someone needs to work from there. But all good.

The hotel is really good, the pools were super nice, and the restaurant was amazing. The hotel staff in general was super efficient and friendly, especially Marwa who helped us a lot with local tips and also to celebrate the birthday of a friend.

Dar Dhiafa is a really nice property with really lovely decor in every corner. The rooms are all different, and everywhere you walk through the property is picturesque. They’ve really thought through the details. Mawra was also such a gem from our stay. She is the absolute sweetest person, such a genuine person. She was so helpful to us throughout our stay, checking in with us even on her day off. She helped us to get taxis, gave great recommendations for what to do in Djerba, and she made our stay wonderful.

We started our honeymoon in Dar Dhiafa and couldn’t be happier with the choice. The room was beautiful, the staff were very kind and helpful, and the food was amazing! Overall a fantastic experience. The neighbourhood is one of the coolest places in Djerba, djerbajood is full of art and great shops and cafes to chill. We were a little hesitant at first to be far from the beach but the relaxation and calm we got at dar dhiafa we can’t imagine to find at any beach hotel during peak season. Highly recommend this place for a visit to Djerba if you are interested in authentic and unique experiences.

The only downsides for us were the very hard mattress, we usually like a firm bed, but it was very firm. The breakfast coffee wasn’t to my taste so I ended up paying separately to have a good one brought to the table.

What I loved most about the property was the stunning 600-year-old architecture, full of character and history. The interior design was beautifully sympathetic to the building, preserving its charm while adding comfort and style. But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the incredible staff, Marwa and Amine went above and beyond and absolutely made the experience for us.

The breakfast was very disappointing -- I had a coffee on the first day and then just skipped it. The room was gorgeous, but the bed was as hard as a rock, and the bathroom needed a serious upgrade. Also didn't love that you had to ask for your room to be cleaned, and water was not provided daily, nor was there a tea/ coffee facility.

Amazing building, very, very beautiful. My room was lovely. Staff were very helpful! Lovely pools on site.

A delightful boutique hotel tucked away in the heart of Djebahood. We chose to stay here on our final day in Tunis as a peaceful retreat before heading home, and it was the perfect choice. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, and both the rooms and pool exuded charm. We spent a relaxing day lounging by the pool, followed by a lovely dinner on-site. The surrounding town is incredibly quaint, filled with vibrant street art and local character—though small, it’s definitely worth a stroll.

The hotel in itself would be a sight in Djerba. Great location, hotel, breakfast, parking right in front of the entrance, all great! Too bad that February is still a little chilly to jump in the pool!

Bed was a little firm for our liking, but we were only there for one night, so it was okay.

Very friendly staff that was able to communicate with us in English since we do not speak French/Arabic. The property is very cute with a nice pool/courtyard and nice onsite restaurant.

Despite high expectations and being accustomed to certain living standards, there was absolutely nothing we could fault about Dar Dhiafa.

There is no question this should be a 5-star hotel, with every detail of the experience exceeding our expectations. The property is absolutely beautiful in terms of the architecture and interior design. It is the perfect size—not too large like a resort hotel, and small enough where everyone had enough space and we could make friends with other guests and staff. The place is beautifully well maintained, which takes a lot of dedication and effort. The staff were incredible, supportive and kind. The restaurant was incredible, and I had the best fish I’ve ever had. We explored several places in Tunis and Hammamet, but next time we will definitely just spend our whole vacation at Dar Dhiafa in Djerba!

I absolutely loved my stay in this gem! We stayed 4 nights and everything was wonderful - the staff were kind and friendly, food excellent, the architecture and pool areas wonderfully relaxing, and an ideal location in Djerbahood to wander the small village spotting all the murals. If you are looking for something different to a resort stay then this is for you!
