Internet was poor. Didn't work in my room. I had to go to the hotel lobby to get Internet.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Very close to the fortress and park. I had a balcony facing the river, which was very nice.

The room was a bit dated and decidedly less upscale than the exterior, lobby, and price point. Breakfast area was too small for the hotel. There was a mob of people trying to eat. Every seat was full. Most of the serving plates were empty. Unsure if this is the norm or if I hit a very busy day/time.

The outside of the hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect. Staff is friendly and helpful. They speak some English. WiFi is strong enough.

The only negative is that the sauna and wellness were closed on Sunday, on Monday for women only, and on Tuesday for men only. This should be written on the webpage so know it when planning the stay.

Very nice hotel, maybe the best in Khujand. Clean room, view to the river. Great breakfast with many dishes (especially cakes and sweets are great, cheese dishes etc.), very delicious black coffee.

The clearing could be better

Toilet would not stop flushing. This occurred in 2 different rooms on the same floor. I had to fix the issue after every flush. Cleaning crew didn’t identify the issue because it was running when i checked in and after morning cleaning. We only stayed for 2 nights so didn’t bother to complain. Staff was stoic and did not appear friendly.

Breakfast ends at 9 am which is not good if you had a hard day before and wanted to wake up on the next day a bit later. You will miss your breakfast. Also the water sewage system requires cleaning, water didn't go well in the shower. Other than these minor things i liked the hotel, its service and location.

The rooms were not so clean, there were no bathroom accessories except toothbrushes. The air conditioner was not working. Rooms are not noise proof.

The location is great, the hotel is located near the park and the river. The view from their rooms is very good, and the sunsets are perfect. The staff was polite, and helped us a lot.

Nothing really to mention, but I would recommend extending the breakfast time to 10 instead of 9.

I'm happy to have another opportunity to visit Khujand and stay at the Sugdiyon Hotel. It's amazing! very nice and professional staffs. We got the perfect, clean room with the best river view of the city! The accommodation is truly great. it feels like everything was bought just yesterday! The breakfast was also great, a rich buffet, the same as last time, served in a beautiful salon. The hotel's location is close to the most attractive part of the city and Kamoli Park. This time, we were there during Nowruz, which was an incredible experience. This non-religious New Year festival marks the first day of Spring and is celebrated in some countries, including Tajikistan, which I believe hosts the best festival. Everyone wears colorful traditional dresses, enjoys traditional food, and the city is full of flowers. There's group dancing and shows that are free for everyone in the city. A really great, huge festival! We had a nice walk from the beautiful park near the hotel to the festival's dancing and celebration area. I can't fully express how amazing is this tradition, you should try it for yourself!

My relatives came to visit and were not allowed to go upstairs with me. I saw the pool and sauna and that is why I booked this Hotel but unfortunately it was not part of the hotel. They ask me to pay for it every day. I didn't like that so I didn't get to use the pool. I was not happy about that to be a guest at the Hotel and not be able to use the pool and sauna.

I loved the complimentary breakfast. The view was amazing facing the River.
