Sweed Dee was the perfect hostel to stay in to avoid the craziness of other hostels while still being close to all the bars, restaurants and atmosphere. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Only downside is that there’s 2 showers and 2 toilets for 18 people and you can hear and smell everyone poop since there is no closed toilets.

The staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond on so many levels. Everyday they cleaned our room and bed, and Sing,the housekeeper, even moved some of our clothes outside to dry if they weren’t drying properly on the rack in the bathroom. They were also so incredibly friendly and especially Cho who made our stay feel like home and greeted us everyday with a smile on her face.

Top bunk was comfortable but it squeaked. Moved to a bottom bunk with was much better

Absolutely loved this place, the staff are so delightful and friendly and helpful. The place is clean, and in a good location, close to everything but far enough away from the noise to sleep well. Free breakfast and coffee in the morning is great. Beds are comfortable and have curtains and a light and plug. Place is secure with keys and a locker.

Great location, clean hostel, comfy beds. The staff are amazing, so lovely and made us pancakes in the morning. Folded our clothes and gave us fresh towels everyday!

Loved my stay on Phi Phi Island! The hostel had an excellent location, just a short walk from everything. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was a great bonus. Clean rooms, good facilities — would definitely stay here again

Beds are a bit noisy.

It's nice and social. People sit in front of the hostel to chat. In a Quiet area. Nice and helpful staff. Good ac. I also stayed in the other sweed dee Hostel with sea view. Very similar, you only get pancakes for breakfast here not at seaview. There you could hear slight music from the beach but not much bother inside and no noisy beds. Everything else is the same, both comfy beds. So overall both are good.

The bathroom can get a bit cramped with many people, so timing it right is important.

The staff was extremely friendly. It was nice sitting outside, with snacks available. The boat tour organised through the hostel was great fun.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! The room was super clean, they were always cleaning the bathrooms and changing the trash bags. They also serve breakfast for free, they do pancakes, they have toaster and bread, cookies, you can make your coffee and there’s a water refill.

4 separate people from my room were either feeling sick or actually had food poisoning on my last night - not sure whether it was a bug in the room or maybe the pancakes as the mixture was never kept in the fridge.

The staff were so helpful, non stop cleaning and checking you were ok. Free snacks to take throughout the day was a nice addition. Bed was very comfy. Warm showers and nice bathroom

- Not enough showers/toilets for the amount of people in the room. - Nowhere to hang your clothes/towel in the shower. - Lockers were too small for a big backpack. - Not very social as there aren’t any activities.

The place has an excellent location. The rooms have luggage storage, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are in very good condition, and the place is always clean. Cho and the rest of the staff are always very welcoming and friendly. They make the place super comfortable and convenient for relaxing.

The staff were the most friendly I'd come across in Thailand! So willing to help. I'd come back sometimes and they'd hosed off my sandy beach shoes. Always said hello, very helpful!

Walls are kind of thin and flimsy so we could really hear the snoring neighbors in both dorms but that’s just typical hostel life

The two staff members we met were sooo sweet and friendly. They even were able to accommodate us to fix the dates of our booking last minute. They have snacks, filtered water, and the location is an easy walk to the beaches, harbor, and viewpoints without getting too much noise from the bar scene. Everything else is pretty standard hostel fare

We had beds near the door which were furthest away from the Aircon unit so was very hot at night. Also there were so many mosquitoes, I got lots of bites overnight and struggled to sleep with them buzzing around me. Beds quite squeaky and loud so anyone moving in the night would wake up the room.
