Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThe hotel has some years and we see that it requires some maintenance but staff was making improvements (painting, etc) every day to keep it in good shape.
Big hotel with different kind of rooms. Family room was very big, with a balcony. It is situated in a very nice garden with two exceptional pools. There is a free shuttle to reach the beach and restaurants and there are many tuktuks available to go to the Landmark night market. Ideal to visit Koh Poda and Hong Island. It was the best spot in our trip around Thailand. The bed for the third guest was a real comfy bed. Breakfast was very varied and the views from the restaurant are awesome. We arrived very early and could benefit of the swimming pool while waiting for the room to be ready.

IndiaWe loved everything about the place. No alcohol allowed in the hotel but it did not matter for us.
Beautiful property, great value for money. Two pools to choose from at different levels with a great view. Spacious rooms, breakfast buffet view was amazing too. Buggy available as the property is on a slope (elderly may find that aspect challenging).

AustraliaHearing the call to pray very early in the morning. Restaurant food wasn't great but in fairness we only had breakfast there.
The comfortable villa was a good size. The pool near the villa was very nice. Staff were great. Grounds were very well kept. The view is spectacular. The location is central and away from the busyness.

United Kingdomlocation was a little far from the main area but the hotel offered a free shuttle bus to the beach and back to the hotel.
the resort is beautiful and the hotel room was also beautiful. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a walk in shower and separate bath tub which is always nice. The resort was really quiet and great place to relax and chill out and enjoy the stunning mountain views.

HungaryBe aware that the pool that is connected to the rooms with pool access can be used by anyone. Just because it is in front of your room, it is not exclusive. This means that kids can come and play directly in front of your balcony. It can get loud.
Beautiful grounds, well kept facilities. The room with pool access is super fun. You can just jump in the pool from your balcony. Huge room and huge bathroom. Very good water pressure. The view from the balcony and from the restaurant is fantastic as the hotel sits higher. The breakfast buffet is really nice, it caters to all: fruits, yogurts, any kind of eggs made fresh, many choices of bread and pastries, juices, salad bar, continental and english style breakfast options, plus local hot dishes. Daily cleaning services is seamless. You get 3x0,5 l water bottles every day. Medium size fridge in the room. A/C works perfectly and quietly. Staff is really nice and attentive.

United KingdomWe only stayed one night here in Ao Nang, but the room was super lush – modern, spacious, and very comfortable. It was a bit far from the main area, which felt like a bit of a stretch for such a short stay, but it might work well if you’re planning to stay longer. Can’t really comment on food or staff as our stay was so brief, but the room definitely impressed!

MalaysiaThe facilities a bit dated
Very friendly and supportive staff, the breakfast options is tasty and nice and some of the items in the room is well-thought-out. For example, the rattan basket with towels for beach, the flip flop to go to the pool and the buggy service to the breakfast area. The resort is strategically located to the Muslim street market and also about 15 minutes walk to the beach. Our kids love the pool so much

Everything. Lovely staff, so smiley and helpful. The views were stunning and breakfast overlooking the mountains was such a treat. The pools were luxurious, with one nestling in beautiful tropical vegetation. It was just a 15 minute walk to Ao Nang beach. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

MaltaThe only downside, if there was one, was that cocktails were not available by the pool; however, a variety of mocktails and coffees were offered.
We booked a room with a Jacuzzi that overlooked the pool on the upper level, and the views were incredible. There are three pools available for use, each with plenty of space. The food from the restaurant was very good, and although the breakfast options were not very Western, there was a variety of different dishes, all of which were delicious.

In hotel was nothing what i can say it was bad or can better. But near by is the church and every single morning around 5-6 o clock we heard very loud singing the priester there.
