The location is wonderful; surrounded by lush greenery and dramatic mist-wrapped mountains. Only 8 cottages so if you are looking for quiet and calm away from the crowds, this is perfect. Mr Bao and Oi are great hosts who really do want you to have a memorable experience. The accommodation is raised with walkways between the cottages and none of the balconies seem to overlook others. The rooms are large, clean and simple but comfortable. Mr Bao organised a jungle night walk which was worth doing although we made the mistake of wearing trainers in the wet season. Absolute highlight was the canoeing trip and we would say that this is once in a lifetime stuff. It was low season so very few people and a bit rainy but the tranquility and dramatic views are well worth the effort.

The interior of the villas is a bit basic but functional. So this did not bother us at all!

Great place to explore the area! Nice, small resort with friendly staff and outstanding service. The resort is outside of the village but Mr. Bao was always happy to drop us off or pick us up (for free). We also appreciated his sense of humor and the Thai teaching to the boys 😉 Also extremely helpful to organise tour or transportation as needed. Would certainly book again!

That we couldn't stay longer.

Location and surroundings are gorgeous. Very spacious, clean comfortable room and bathroom with a huge balcony. The staff are brilliant and Mr. Bao is so helpful. The hotel is less than 5 minutes drive from the town but they offer a free shuttle which we availed of multiple times. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful place! The whole area was gorgous, and tge view was incredible. Everything was super clean, and the owner was super nice and helpful. One of the best value for money we had. If we are ever coming back to Kao sok, this is where we will stay again.

Good location for visiting Khao Sok, popular attractions and 5 minutes to the village. Houses are neat and super clean. The owners are super friendly, nothing is too much.

Very friendly and helpful owner.They bring you to the town and back.The owner also arranged our transport from Phuket airport to the hotel.We could leave our lugage in the hotel while we were on excursion on Khao sok lake.After our excursion hé arranged that a driver picked us up at the lake(with our lugage)and drive us straight to the pier for our Ferrari Ko Phangang.This saves us a lot of time. We would recommand this hotel!

Mr Bao was a super great host, lots of fun with kids. Food was awesome at fantastic prices. Mr Bao made booking activities and transportation a dream. Washing services on site. Rain coats and waterproof bags available. We absolutely loved our stay!

The hosts here were probably one of the best I have had in my 20 years of going to Thailand. Rooms were great and very clean. Food was great for breakfasts and dinner.

It is so hard to criticize such a lovely stay. Not all the rooms have views so it's important to book a room with a view. There is a minimal odor in the bathroom but you are in the jungle and I am hyper sentive to smells so most would not notice.

All the reviews said how incredible Mr Bao and his wife were and they did NOT Disappoint! The food was the best we had in Thailand. Anything we needed they helped us with from the elephant tour, the Damn tour and TRANSPORTATION was incredible! They provided a very reasonable and quick laundry service that was a lifesaver. They even helped me with my transportation to Koh Samui that saved me a ton of time and money. We left feeling like they were family. We were lucky to have his daughter and her boyfriend there too.

We had a great stay at Good View Resort! The service was excellent – they even came to pick us up and take us to the hotel, which was really convenient. The staff is super friendly, always smiling and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and hassle-free stay!

Nothing at all. I wish we stayed longer!! Also we didn’t like the pad Thai, but all the other food was fantastic. The massaman curry, the breakfasts, the fried chicken, the coconut soup, all excellent.

Incredible views from the balcony, comfortable and spacious rooms, and most importantly Mr. Bao and Mrs. Bao’s incredible hospitality. Mr. Bao will drive you into town and pick you up, and drive you to the base of the national park. They are wonderful at organizing every activity you’d like to do, and are so kind and wonderful.

Mr and mrs Bao and his family were amazing!!!!! The accommodation was on point with everything you could think of available to you. Mr Bao accommodated every request and we had, from booking night safari tour, day trips and transport to our next destination-!! No hassle at all for him and he was very happy to help. He even volunteered to collect us up from town after dinner!! Food at the restaurant was fabulous with great options available! Bed was extremely comfortable and we loved the comfy chairs on the balcony to sit back and look at the fantastic view!! The property was so good, we extended our stay by 1 night!!! Thank you to you and your family for this wonderful experience. 🙏🏻🥰😆

Stunning hotel location amongst the trees, beautiful and peaceful. Small hotel, personalised service. Mr Bao and his wife so kind and friendly-will drop you off in village and pick you up again. Rooms spacious, stunning views, nice small pool, excellent value and tasty food - recommend over going to village for food!
