Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandThe restaurant was as if it were off-season. It was an island hotel, but see-food like shrimp was served defrosted. It was greasy and tasteless. And it was twice as expensive as, say, Phuket. Islanders cruised back and forth on the beach on incredibly loud motorbikes, completely disrupting the peace and privacy.
A beautiful beach with a view of the smaller islands.

United KingdomIt’s a shame that, if the transfer boat doesn’t leave till 1.30pm that something couldn’t be done to facilitate visitors stay in the room (or to have another room) to freshen up before leaving. Xx
The location was absolutely stunning. Xx

BelgiumThe prices for extras are far too expensive according to me. Examples: Simple thai massage : 1200 thb for only 60 minutes! Much other possibilities, but 3 - 4 times the price of what you on the mainland. They have a Thai restaurant on top at Sunset pool, but you need to reserve at least 1 day before and decide what you want to eat. We have a daughter allergic to chili, but they said they couldn’t make any alternative without chili !!?? So we skipped it. Besides this non-flexibilty, it is also expensive (min 1750 and max 3000 thb per person and without any drinks !! depending on the choice of menu).. another reason why we skipped this. During our stay, we saw only 3 tables being served.. we believe to know why..
Great resort to stay and relax, far away from crowded Tonsai. Nice and spacious rooms with everything you need. Very very friendly staff, who do everything immediately and with big smile. You have 3 pools (beside the nice beach and wide sea with coral riffs in front of hotel).. Infinity pool with nice view towards Bamboo Island and Krabi (where you can order some small snacks and drinks that they bring to you with golf buggy) and on the other side (on top of the hill) you have the Sunset pool with wife view over the sea towards Phuket and a nice sunset view at evenings. Also good cocktails here with happy hour every day !! We enjoyed it every day!!

PakistanWent during the off season, and things seemed too quiet. The sunset bar and its pool were not maintained during our stay Breakfast timing was till 10AM which seemed a but short given people go there to relax and may need extended breakfast time We went there in May, and the sea was extremely choppy. Took a speedboat from Phuket to the island, and back- and in choppy waters, you will need a very strong stomach to go through the 75 minute boat ride
Facility had 3 pools, 2 infinity pools and one family pool. We used the family pool mostly Used the PADI accredited Scuba facility offered by the resort and it was fantastic Breakfast was simple, limited, but good

IndiaTotal 150 rooms in the resort - with less number of staff to respond. very few activity for kids in the hotel making kids get bored very quickly.
Serene beach, excellent swimming pools, and the resort's proximity to attractions like Maya Bay, Bamboo Island. The swimming pools are well-regarded, and the resort offers various amenities like snorkelling equipment and a spa. I express a desire to return and stay longer, to see and use the complete property.

United KingdomWe didn’t like the fact that the menu prices at the bar are before tax. All very well and good to add a service charge however this should not be a requirement. The prices for drinks and beverages are high enough for there to be profit and the client pays their rate for being a guest at the resort. In any case. The Menu at the bar should show the price of the drink inclusive of tax because that is non negotiable. It is also the general etiquette expected by consumers in b2c (business to consumer) settings, prices non inclusive of VAT are generally advertised towards b2b (business to business) Closure of monkey bar was not communicated and was a little bit of a shame that this was not available. There could have been a bit of tidiness around the resort. The low season brings smaller levels of guest and so, whilst the beach was wonderful to enjoy in seclusion, the restaurants lacked ambience and atmosphere because of this. I would recommend for the hotel to find time to put away additional chairs and tables and this way the hotel would feel more adapted to the numbers of guest making it feel more exclusive and intimate. The maintenance of grassed areas and pathways alongside keeping the beach tidy are areas the hotel could improve upon. The sun loungers are very basic and remind me of the sort found at pools in Spain in the 90s. More elevated loungers that are neatly positioned on the beach with parasols would add a touch of luxury to the resort and prevent people from clustering around shaded tree areas which also sets the tone for a more upmarket experience. The food was just ok and choices were limited. No coconut smoothies which is unusual for a Thai island. Watermelon and fresh coconuts had run out by the third day of our stay, we stayed for 8 days and so mango and pineapple smoothies were the only options we had for those. Also there was no Thai green iced tea - another highly desirable drink for us. We ended up going to coco mornings to get one instead.
The beach was wonderful and the location of our bungalow, room 108 was perfect. The premier beach bungalow is a nice room with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Loved the buggy service which was helpful to get to the sunset bar, in particular. The hotel staff were friendly and we enjoyed talking with them.

Strong and reliable wifi. Comfortable bed. There are plenty of long tail boats on the beach. We booked a half day trip directly with them. You can also take a taxi (motorcycle with s sidecars) to go to other beaches.

AustraliaIt’s the service. Limited English speakers, most the time the staff don’t understand you. For a resort of this standard, you expect better service. Staff lack initiative and don’t go out of their way. When I asked at the bar for a cup of ice, I was told to call room service. When I asked for a roll of toilet paper, I was directed to use the public toilet instead of my room. Totally unacceptable.
We’ve been here three times - the location is the best on the island and that’s why we continue to go. If there were no restaurants or villages surrounding the resort, we would go somewhere else.

United StatesThe staff were a bit disconnected from each other (there were three different office spaces - when everyone should have been in the same area [buggy/ activities, check-in, and check-out]). Also all the eating options were outside - so I wish we would have brought bug spray.
The location and food options were great. We especially loved the beach - and the chairs available on the beach.

The multiple pools and beach access was fantastic. Having the buggy to get around the property was incredibly helpful in the heat not to mention super fun too. Breakfast was good with a nice variety and yummy omelettes
