The place is advertised as an adult only hotel, but turns out children over 12 are welcome. Had we known this we would have chosen to stay elsewhere.

Staff were amazing and so friendly. We had an issue with the air conditioner in our room and were upgraded to a better room so were very satisfied.

We had a late flight and had to book the shower room. I was very disappointed as the shower room turn out to be a shower in the public toilet area for a hotel of this standard this was not acceptable. My husband could not lock the shower door which is not good I suggest the hotel improves this facility as it let's the standard of the hotel down

I loved the Thai decor, the location on the beach and the food. The late check out with the shower was nice.

The coffee! You need a proper coffee machine.

Loved that the resort is adult only, loved dining on the beach, loved the friendly staff. Especially loved the pop-up drinks van out the front with music each night. Didn't like the coffee!

Everything is perfect just at the beginning of town so you don't need a taxi way walk and the beach is long

Nothing apart from thinking our breakfast was included then on arrival being told that it wasn't. Booking.com have now changed the advert l notice, on the original ad it had a green banner on the top of the ad for dara samui

No swimmable beach! Chose the hotel as the pictures showed a beautiful beach beyond the pool and pool lounges, but it doesn’t exist. There is a sandy beach but then mud flats and very shallow water. Need to walk 10 minutes to a swimmable part of Chaweng Beach.

Loved the room size, comfortable beds and huge bathroom. Location was great too! Hotel staff were absolutely amazing! Breakfast was delicious and a nice variety too! We would definitely recommend this hotel

Perfect location for those who want to be close to all the things in chaweng but still enjoy some peace and quiet. Breakfast was exceptional. Really lovely staff who were really nice and helpful.

Smokers in the pool

The Deluxe room was exceptional! Enormous suite with separate lounge, huge bath and ocean views. Very comfortable king bed with soft pillows. Meandering pool allows some quiet space overlooking the beach. Fabulous beach dining under individual tents with super friendly staff! Great location if looking for central Chaweng with shops, restaurants and markets within walking distance. We used for last night to do souvenir shopping for family.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The whole environment and experience were inviting and comfortable. We had a nice breakfast,lunch and romantic dinner on site. We enjoyed our stay at Dara Samui.

The staff was exceptional. Our luggage didn't arrive for 2 days and they helped us connect with the airlines to find the 2 suitcases. The meals were delicious. Lunch and dinner were very well made and the service staff were amazing. Breakfast was everything one could want.
