How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewBeautiful rooms. Friendly staff. Lovely location. A short taxi ride from the hustle of central Hua Hin to a much more quaint, village vibe and a beautiful, quieter stretch of sandy beach. The gardens were so beautiful.
Breakfast set up was small tapas style off an al la carte menu. You could order whatever you liked/as much as you liked, but it was a bit different. If you are sensitive to accustics, ask for an upstairs suite/room so that you dont hear the people moving about above you.

Every detail is taken care of before you even have to ask — this is the highest level of attentiveness. Breakfasts are not only delicious — they are thoughtfully tailored with a personal touch. Since we stayed longer than any other guests, we were even offered a special menu just for us. This gesture deeply touched us — such a level of care speaks for itself. The hotel is small, intimate, and soulful, with a truly private atmosphere. Housekeeping is flawless — everything is immaculate and arranged with great attention to detail. The historical background of the villa adds a special feeling of connection — being here feels like becoming part of Thailand’s cultural heritage. This is not just luxury — this is conscious, refined, meaningful luxury. A rarity in today’s world. We extended our stay simply because we couldn’t leave — that’s how wonderful it is here. Nature, tranquility, a sense of seclusion and inner harmony — this is exactly what we were looking for, and this is exactly what we found. Special thanks to everyone — from the management and security team to the restaurant staff and beach attendants. The beach, the paddleboard, the instructor — everything was top-notch. Verified reviewOur concierge was AMAZING. Very personable, helpful, and kind. We were walking into the area and he saw us and offered a ride to our restaurant on his golf cart. The villa was fantastic and it was obvious that the resort owners thought of every tiny possible detail that would make our stay as comfortable as possible. I mean - pillow mist? A flashlight? A picnic basket for the beach? My fiance and I lived in our robes the whole time. Lastly, the private beach with the temples and Buddha statue in the close distance was magical. Next time I am in Thailand we are staying agian and will recommend it to anyone who is visiting Hua Hin/Khao Tao.
If I had to make one complaint, I'd say that the outdoor hot tub took forever to fill up. That's really just me pressing for any complaints though. Otherwise, it's a 11/10.

Verified reviewEverything. The rooms are nice and cozy. I travelled with a 6 month-old baby and every facility is perfect. Staff is nice. The salt pool is good for everyone in the family. Will definitely be back.

Verified reviewThe breakfast was great and food at the restaurant is worth the try. Service was as good as you can expect from 5-stars hotel (well it's my first time with this type of service tho). It was very private and worth for the getaway.
A lot of trees and plants are great but also attract a lot of mosquitoes. Plates and glasses in the cabinet was a little high difficult to get it comfortably for short person like me, if there is a step ladder might be great.
