One of the pool was closed, which was fine as there was another alternative as well. Duty to low capacity the usual breakfast buffet was not available, so we chose off a set menu which was rather disappointing and boring.

The views were great, idyllic and serene atmosphere that made an extremely relaxing stay. Aircon in the hotel rooms were great to beat the heat outdoors. The location was especially fantastic for a tonne of touristy things - tiger park, lion land, elepant trekking, chalong bay, dolphin shows etc!

The breakfast wasn’t great at all. This is what let the stay down. It was cold, eggs, bacon, everything was cold.

Our room was incredible! Amazing view and bath on balcony. We were on the end of the block with no privacy block which was a little annoying. Pool was gorgeous along with the roof top pool which should be utilised more! And the jacuzzi!

Only downside is location and opening times (pool bar and restaurant close at 6pm) We recommend getting bike asap otherwise u will have to use grab/bolt. Apartments are close to very frequent road.

Location is great, close to city with scooter but not in the loud and busy areas. Large rooms, balcony and nice views. Big shower and good water pressure.

Nice, spacious room layout, only 4 coat hangers but plenty more provided on asking, a/c good, bath which I like, there is a rain shower head and the normal shower head is fixed height, a nuisance for small people, good sized fridge, good size balcony

Chalong resort not well connected to local shops/restaurants so needed to walk on the road at times. It would be ideal if a footpath could be extended. However, easy to get a Grab/taxi if required. Hotel staff also provided transport to shops one day when we required assistance. Public bus also available from front of hotel (it's on a main road)

The staff were great! Facilities are in need of repairs but everything was clean. Lovely swimming pools. The staff offered every assistance to make our stay comfortable. Close to shops & restaurants at Chalong but removed from the busyness and very peaceful at the resort. Beautiful views with the elevation

Exceptional view on the island. It is situated at the bottom of the hill with Big Buddha of Phuket. Rooms are rather isolated from each other so there is not too many people around you for those who appreciate privacy. Stuff is friendly and helpful.

Overall, it was a strange stay not bad or unpleasant and fine for the two nights we spent there. The chalet is on a main road so a scooter or taxi is needed to get anywhere. The building is cool as a structure but very worn and the place has an abandoned vibe.

Nice grounds, pool area was relaxing and the room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. The staff tried to be helpful. The bath on the balcony is a cool concept but does take around three hours to fill.

However the hotel was located on a dangerous busy bend. On approaching the hotel from the south there is a dangerous crossing and one which we didn't take. We went past the hotel for a couple of miles to find a way of coming back to it on the other side of the road.

The location is quite ‘far out’ and many facilities had to be travelled to by a taxi and it may be quite costly for travellers who would like to go to other places regularly.

We had an amazing stay at the Chalong Chalet Resort. The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. There were 2 swimming pools which were well maintained and we had a jacuzzi included which was a nice addition. Breakfast was served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and despite the fairly limited selection of breakfast it was good for the price we payed. They also serve things other than what is provided if you ask, which we appreciated. The WiFi was adequate and sometimes cut out but could be fixed easily.
