United StatesCheck out is way too early. 10AM Please allow for requested late checkout. Don’t add the buffet breakfast…it’s ok but not worth the add on.
The hotel is centrally located and all the rooms have a view of the bay and a balcony or patio. It’s not all inclusive but there are many restaurants around the property, I encourage you to try the local eateries they have the best food! The room was a great size, bed comfy, kitchenette, flat screen, big shower with tub and the water gets HOT…loved it! There’s a nice size pool and gym. Overall nice facility and I WILL stay there again.

United StatesThe included breakfast was at the Mexican Restuarant. It was mediocre. I dio not consider a Mexican breakfast a good choice for a resort hotel.
Our room was slightly past the pool. We had a wonderful view of the harbor. The balcony was great for just sitting and relaxing.

United StatesI had a 2 bedroom villa. It was all really good but.. the paint was chipping off the bathtub and the refrigerator smelled so badly. But besides that it was great.
Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The restaurants were really really good. The buffet breakfast was ok. The other breakfast places on property were much better in quality.The beaches are small but fine.pool was great. The view from the villa was amazing !

NetherlandsRoom cleaning/refreshing was done every day during the first week. In the second week this wasn’t done daily and we had to ask for the room to be cleaned. Our requests were followed up though.
The property is nicely located in the Simpson bay, good accessibility to shops, restaurants and beaches. The beaches are small yet nice! A few good restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. We had a spacious room with ocean view which was magnificent. The kitchen is fully equipped. Very friendly staff!

United StatesThe front desk staff. They seem to be mad and grumpy at all hours of the day. Every-time, we approached the counter, they just had an attitude and we seem to be bothering them when asked a question. Everyone else at the hotel and island were lovely. Just the front desk folks. Don’t know why they chose to work with people if they themselves seem so miserable. Before going I read multiple reviews that the front desk staff were unfriendly, I thought they were exaggerating until I experienced it myself. The villa was nice. The only thing, I’d say about the rooms is that the bathroom seems really outdated compared to the villa itself. It didn’t match, it’s like they renovated everything else but forgot the bathroom.
The property was close to everything! Highly recommend. Onsite, multiple restaurants, activities, and casino!

United StatesI really did not like the towel policy. It's absurd. I also did not like that the pool filter never seemed on. The pool always seemed to be dirty. There was always a layer of bugs that were not being filtered out. Also, although I loved the steps into the ocean, someone should clean them. At least brush them off. I understand algae, but the excessive build-up can be controlled. The other thing I didn't like was that you have to pay to use the gym. It should be included when you are staying at the villas. The furniture in the room is very uncomfortable. The couch and chairs are too deep to sit on comfortably. Thicker pillows would help.
The location is great! The Cafe is an added convenience. The room was very clean. The stairs into the calm ocean are lovely. The view from the balcony is amazing. The jewelry store in the lobby is a nice touch. The pool bar staff, drinks and food are all wonderful! The on-site restaurants are a bonus. Each was delicious, and the staff was impeccable! A very nice variety to choose from.

United StatesOur room had a funny smell, you could tell the furniture is pretty worn, and I’m not 100% sure the room was deep cleaned after the previous guests. I took my travel sized Lysol wipes and cleaned the counters, wiped the toilets, etc.
We’ve stayed at Simpson Bay Resort 3 times and we love the location. Not far from the airport, walkable to restaurants, the beach, bars, grocery stores, etc.

United KingdomWe got a late half price deal and it still felt massively overpriced. Given what was being paid it seemed the height to cheek to then change additional money to access proper fast WiFi! The included WiFi can barely be used for messaging. The room smelled like an old tomb which was related to the air conditioning I think. The tv was huge but did not provide access to streaming services. On Friday night the music from a venue at the other side of Simpson bay was so loud it kept us awake for a while. There was also a slightly aggressive undertone in the agreement we signed on check in which included a clause that late checkout by an hour would result in a $100 charge! Not a very Caribbean vibe, which we have thankfully encountered elsewhere
The best feature is the great pool with pool bar overlooking the stunning Simpson Bay. The pool bar was great and the bar staff was great as well. The iguanas that hang out on the rocks beside the sea were interesting to see as well (they didn’t try to actually come into the pool area thankfully!) The sunset view from the room was good as well. The place was clean and comfortable.
