Breakfast is basic. There are several Wi-Fis but none of them works properly in the room. This must be improved. The pick up at the airport was delayed and I was frustrated to see nobody waiting for me. However the phone attention was good and calmed be down.

Good location, at walking distance from the Place de Independence (10 min) and the port to Goree Island (20 min). Nice pool at the seaside. It gives the hotel a much higher degree. Room is comfortable, with good bed and AC. Very quiet in the night.

Loved the pool with a view of the ocean. Shower was hot. Beds were comfortable. Cafe on-site is convenient - food is good, and portions are large. It's close to the port if you're taking ferries.

Skip the breakfast option if you're an early riser. The soap dispenser in the shower didn’t work, but it wasn’t a major issue. Considering the rate, the hotel could benefit from a few additional amenities—simple things like a clothes press.

Everything was great and met my expectations. The staff was friendly and had a positive vibe—especially the ones at the restaurant—despite the language barriers. Very beautiful view. Environment was serene. I also felt safe, given its proximity to the president's residence. I particularly appreciated the minimal interaction from the staff, allowing for personal space, which I valued.

The food is not good, except for the pizza that was ok. Better to eat out for dinner (try Farid!). Breakfast also not good. The coffee is just awful! It comes from an old machine and makes coffee taste like cacao and something milky...

Nice place, terrace with a great pool with a view! The room is very clean and comfortable. Good bed and a pleasant bathroom (good shower). Sea view room downstairs looks over the pool. Upstairs the view may be nicer. Location is convenient, behind the presidential palace (you can hear the peacocks in the garden).

I was assured that an airport transfer would be waiting for me on arrival of my flight, however this was not the case and I had to make alternative arrangements. Breakfast variety could have been better and there was no hot water in the room some mornings

This is our second time staying here. Location is great, staff are very accommodating - did everything they could so we could check into our room quickly after a very early arrival and gave us free breakfast while we waited. We will definitely stay here again for all our future visits to Dakar.

Breakfast was very basic, very similar to what I would get at a hostel. Not very clear what the food/drink ordering system was - sometimes staff would come to you, sometimes you would have to walk to the staff and order - maybe they just had a staff shortage. Price is kind of high for Senegal standards. Not a lot of character with the color or decor, all kind of muted.

Generally good setup, ample room for seating by the pool or in the dining area next to it. The whole place felt safe and there was a metal gate put up at night. Wifi worked well. Good hot water in the shower. Bed was comfortable. They cleaned the room every day (there's no do not disturb sign). They offered transfers, though a little expensive. Prompt service with taxis. Having a pool and lounge chairs in the hot spring weather was nice.

It’s located by the coastline so it literally overlooks the ocean, it also has a rocky beach that you can access to and the ocean. The views are immaculate and it’s such a peaceful vibe. The employees were really nice and attentive, the food is good but not so great, the rooms are a little bit smaller than you think but they’re very clean, and looks nice.

If you prefer the chique and more impersonal style of a professional hotel, this is not the place for you. Union Amicale Corse is a cozy and personal place, with the friendly atmosphere of a guesthouse in a small village.

Union Amicale Corse is a welcoming and friendly place located right on the Rte de la Corniche. It has access to a tiny beach, as well as a clean (if sometimes busy) swimming pool. Very friendly staff, with regulars passing by daily for a coffee, beer, or a game of jeu de boules. The outdoor restaurant serves a nice menu of French / Corsican food, and their pizzas are superb. Room wasn't large, but totally adequate, comfortable and clean.
