Rooms needed updating, phone didn’t work, TV didn’t work

Restaurant staff attitude and overall service. Not a service orientated organisation. They can come across as rude at times.

Clean, comfortable room. Nice pool.

When we raised our concerns about the room to the reception, the staff were eager to help and immediately offered us another suite. This new room actually had a proper ocean view from the balcony and felt much more inviting and cozy, which we really appreciated. The staff throughout our stay were kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The ocean view was truly stunning, and despite the rocky start, we ended up enjoying our stay overall.

I booked a suite with an ocean view, but the room we were given didn’t quite live up to that description. The balcony faced a small pool and a row of beach vendors on the other side of the fence. While there was a window technically facing the ocean, the roll-down curtain was broken, making it impossible to enjoy the view. The bathroom amenities were also disappointing—just two very small bottles of shampoo and no toothbrush or toothpaste, which is surprising for a hotel. Overall, the room didn’t feel comfortable or inviting. We were genuinely considering canceling our stay.

Recently renovated room, resonable size and comfort, balcony with view.

Hotel in renovation during my stay: noise, dust, materials and tools in public areas... this should be clearly announced on the booking.com site. Restaurant rather expensive; food just OK.

The hotel was next to the beach, with direct access to it. The room was clean & was made up after each night. The bed was comfortable & the fridge was useful. We ate in the restaurant once, and enjoyed the meal. The staff were friendly & helpful

Only the double bed had a mosquito net, so we shared rather than using the single bed with no net. The safe didn't work, but when they couldn't fix the electronic lock, they gave us a key so we could use it.

Minibar was refilled daily. Location is colorful.

The first night we got a room smaller than reserved, changing to the correct room consumed a lot of time and we were charged for the larger room for all nights. Staff is also not helpful negotiating taxi prices.

The location is amazing.

Staff was not very supportive and the hotel is quite old, although still in good shape. AC did not work.

Couldn’t find WiFi password in the room. Neither reception number. I had to walk to reception to get them.

Great staff, easy access to Ngor Island, and the Scuba diving team were great. Enjoyed the meals as well.

Great location! Right opposite Ngor Island and it's also easy to visit all the attractions in Dakar from the hotel. The staff in reception and at the restaurant were very kind. The pool was amazing and it had access to the beach as well.

The rooms were a bit basic but they have everything you need for a great stay.
