The pool was in the center of everything and I felt a bit awkward to lay there in my bikins when everyone else around is fully clothed. But that is more me problem. The room doesn't have a safe which I would have appreciated. And the window didn't fully close.

It's a beautiful hotel in a peaceful area walking distance to the beach. Everyone working there was very nice! Although I don't speak French many of them tried with little English and me with little French that I knew. There were also 2 people who did speak English and they came often to help. The airco works well, the shower has hot water, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. It felt more like a home than a hotel which I really liked.

Transfert was no so confortable. No air conditionner, by night is't okay but coming back to the airport at midday was very hot and uncomfortable and the driver is always listening a local drum music. No water in the cabine. Small inconveniences but sensibles.

Very good location. Delicious cuisine. Room with patio on 2nd floor is the best one! Nearest plage is very comfortable and pleasant.

My friend and I enjoyed two nights here; the first day of our trip to Africa, and then, two weeks later, the last night. It is a lovely little hotel, very clean & comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel also arranged a transfer from the airport for us which was great.

We had a wonderful stay at the Havre de Paix. The hotel is next to the beach, everything is clean and the beds are so confortable. The staff is charming and were there to help us every time. We changed our stay from 2 to 6 days. We could have the break and rest that we needed to come back and return fully recharged to our projects.

The accommodation was perfect. The room was clean, spacious and well-supplied. Exactly like the photos. The beach is only 2 minutes away and it is very clean and quiet. But what made our holiday really special was the staff: Graziella, her father, Omar, Ellen and everyone was always kind and welcoming. They helped us with day trips, airport transfers, food and drinks. Thank you! If we ever return to Senegal, we will definitely come back to Somone and stay in Havre de Paix.

The staff was very nice and discreet but slow to react at times. I had to sit at the table for a long time before they came to take my order.

I booked two rooms: the mini suite and the mezzanine. The first one we were given was very large and had a balcony. It was very quiet and conformtable. There was an issue with the toilet but as soon as I let the staff know, they fixed it. The second room was smaller and did not have a balcony. We stayed there for one night so it did not bother us much. They really chose the name of the place wisely, it is very quiet. The food was average and the pricing okay. The pool is big enough for 4 to 5 adults but more than that, we feel crowded.

Absolutely friendly environment in the hotel, employees are ready to assist with any questions. Hotel is very closed to the ocean, just 10-20 meters away. The owners are welcoming, and it was really pleasant stay for us. Food was amazing and we have tried one small restaurant near hotel and has decided that better to eat in Havre de paix.

I sometimes struggled communicating as I do not speak French and the owners and staff don’t speak English. Goggle translator came in useful many times but there were the odd miscommunications. It would be helpful if the restaurant menu and information brochure was also printed in English

The staff were all very warm and welcoming, the sunbeds and pool were very comfortable. The food delicious and extremely affordable. Rooms were large and spacious with a huge bathroom, less than a minute walk to the beach.

Small family owned hotel. Super friendly staff. Nice to relax at the pool when we came back from the beach. Room was spacious with a nice warm shower. (If you want that). Comfy beds. Close to the beach. Little bit outside the centre of the town but in a 10 minutes walk, you are there. Lots of taxi's driving around as well to bring you to the lagoon.

Staff were all very welcoming and helpful, the owner was very friendly and went out of her way to help us getting souvenirs at a reasonable cost for example. We also enjoyed our meals which were varied and freshly cooked. The grilled thiof was cooked to perfection, what a treat! This hotel has a lot of artwork on display. There's an original painting to be seen from every angle and the murals on each side of the bar are amazing. The pool was clean and well kept.
