Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. RwandaWhat I didn’t like was the breakfast. The options were very limited and, surprisingly, there were hardly any fruits offered which feels like a missed opportunity, especially in Senegal where such an abundance of fruits are available
The property is amazing with plenty of options to choose from. As a solo traveler, what made my stay truly exceptional was the support and friendliness of the team. Everyone was great, although the breakfast staff could be more welcoming and proactive. A special mention to the receptionist, Ms.Ndeye she was outstanding! Always checking in on my stay, offering helpful suggestions, and even helping me save money on the airport shuttle. Her genuine care made my experience unforgettable

Democratic Republic of CongoWhen it was time for breakfast I was told that my booking allowed me to have just a 'petit dejeuner express' (fast or simple breakfast in English), which was very basic. The booking I made did not specify that. So walk-in guests and some guests who pay online do not have the same breakfast type. I found that very strange and not fair for the price I paid.
I liked the fact that many amenities are around the hotel (supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants). The hotel's staff overall were very helpful and being besides the road, it was easy to get a taxi. One of Dakar's best beaches (Ngor Village Beach) is just 15 minutes walk away. The rooms were spacious to me. I liked the welcome/complimentary chocolate and peanuts package I found in the room on arrival.

Belgium- the room was directly connected to another room (through the closed door), so we could hear the other guest in the morning (music and talking) - we got the room facing the main road, so some noise coming from the bathroom, but not too bad - mosquito net could be useful for the sliding glass doors to the swimming pool area

United StatesI didn't like the breakfast. It was a set price and didn't allow for a la carte options. I thought it was also overpriced. And the food was so so. I didn't like that there was no complimentary bottled water at all during my 4-day stay. On the first day of arrival, I was tired, so I drank a bottle of water out of the fridge. I thought it was complimentary. I had to buy my own bottled water. During checkout, I was informed that I needed to pay 2,000 CFA for a small bottle of water. I informed them that I thought that the initial bottle of water was complimentary. He told me that only the water on the desk was complimentary. I told him I didn't receive any during my stay. He said I should have informed them of that. Really? Why do I need to tell them what they should be doing as standard practice? I thought everything there was overpriced. I ordered a cappuccino from the bar. It was 2500 CFA, and the glass was less than half full.
I like the location. And the large, clean, quiet, comfortable room. There was also good, hot water. I also liked the pool.

South Africawhat I did not like was the service in the morning at breakfast. Very unorganised and not accommodating at all. Had to wait for more than 15 minutes before being able to place an order. It was more important to take away dishes even from the table I was sitting at but then not to take the order. This also happened to my colleague. Also even though it was very apparent that my colleague was Muslim she was given an omelet with bacon and that was twice in the time we had breakfast at the hotel. Really very weird and disrespectful.
The staff at reception were extremely helpful and kind. very accommodating and supportive even though I do not speak French😉

United KingdomI booked two rooms at this hotel. The rooms had a mould odour, and very dusty. The odour was overwhelming and I could not sleep. One of the rooms (mines) the patio door could not lock . Room 105. Due to being on the ground floor, I notified reception who attended, and would not change the room. Claiming the camera surveillance and staff would be vigilant. I didn’t sleep that night, as a woman with a door that led to ease of access to my room. The insecurity was real. Will never stay at this hotel again. It was the worst hotel experience , I have ever had in dakar. The morning breakfast was not much better. Not buffet at all. Staff slow and not friendly.
