    “There is something almost magical about Casa Mara. It attracts couples, families (without exception with delightful children), others...all nice people, we stayed for a week (instead of the 3 days booked). The pool, although small, is pleasant and popular. The breakfasts are a little repetitive but fresh and topped up just for the asking (many eat late here). The staff are helpful and work hard - some French or Spanish is really key here as in Dakar in general. I would agree that ground floor rooms are likely a little noisy around breakfast time but the first floor was cool and the room pretty near perfect. Meals in the restaurant we avoided but eating out was an adventure in itself...even with Yango/eSIM.”
