Nothing all exceptional

Great location and everything as advertised

The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and well-equipped for a 4-night stay. The location was close to many restaurants and a small grocery store. The host, Fabrizio, checked in and responded quickly. And the view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking, with gorgeous sunsets!

Nothing at all to dislike.

Absolutely charming. Incredibly homely and comfortable with lounge and dining spaces and furniture, including rooftop balcony.. I strongly doubt I will ever stay anywhere like it again. Appreciated the coffee tea and snacks available. Great location in the centre of the old town and near museums, cafes and shops. We did not meet the host, but he was easily contactable and helpful with initial problems we had locating property due to IT issues downloading map.

The BnB is in a perfect location. In the old city, close to everything, with a lovely terrazzo with stunning views. The home was roomy and well-appointed. Breakfast was self-serve, and our host Fabrizio had the kitchen very well-stocked. We couldn’t possibly eat everything he had out for us.

There was nothing! It was all delightful!

Great stay in San Marino. Owner was wonderful, the place was charming (even caught quite a few folks taking pics of the front), well stocked kitchen, and the view and sunsets, well, spectacular. Will need to go back as two days was not enough to explore what San Marino has to offer. Everything was just perfect.

We could have stayed longer.

We loved everything about B&B Balsimelli12. From the elegant design of the place to the sensational views from the terrace, everything was perfect. Fabrizio has thought of everything to make staying at his place a pleasure. If you have the opportunity to book this lovely B&B in San Marino, don't think twice.

There was nothing to dislike.

The property has a rich family history, that adds to the charm of the home. Fabrizio has tastefully designed the property with a unique mix of historic momentos mixed with modern amenities and atmospheric lighting. The top floor terrace, looking out over San Marino and the tiers of hills beyond, is the crown jewel. A true home away from home!!

Location was fantastic with the most marvellous view from the roof terrace. It was perfect for a night stay in San Marino. Didn’t meet owner but excellent communication when contacted.

Everything was just perfect. Clean comfortable and the views from the terrace. Right in the thick of town too. Couldn’t be better will be returning

We had the loft apartment but also access to the rest of the beautiful historic house, including the well equiped kitchen. Right in the middle of the beautiful town with amazing views from the spacious balcony.

The interior is modern and absolutely beautiful. You can do the check-in even later, since it’s done through instructions. The owner was very kind. And we love the terrace with a stunning view.

The balcony was almost totally private amd gave views over many miles - simply stunning. Comfy bed, gorgeous house and dogs. Very nice host (wish I had seen him more). He even sent me texts checking how I was). His instructions and information are clear and spot on (do take the cable car, its just 5 mins walk without too much of a climb). I saw that breakfast seemed quite well stocked (the host got me some gluten free foods which might not have been easy in San Marino). Apart from the b&b being 100%, San Marino is, too. Simply stunning.

Be aware that the Palace clock chimes every 15 mins from 6am to 10pm.

The apartment truly surpassed our expectations, the pictures just cannot give you back the feeling being there. Everything is so well selected and sophisticated, perfectly matches the San Marino lifestyle. Not to mention the location, right in the middle of the old town yet in a quite street. Truly breathtaking. Fabrizio is the perfect host, everything was clean and organized, the fridge was full of fine foods and drinks.

After arriving we almost immediately decided to stay longer but unfortunately the apartment was already reserved. Of course it's not a negative impression just us not being lucky. But if we will ever return to San Marino (and we will), we'll stay in Balsimelli12 for sure!

Everything about the apartment was perfect.

Everything! This place is gorgeous - if only available book for one and only San Marino experience (and consider yourself lucky). In fact for me it was 12/10, this is really a signature apartment. If that’s not enough, you can get any hints or help from fantastic place owner, Fabrizio.

Everything! Great location, fantastic rooftop terrace, stylish interior and good instructions and dialogue with the host.

Only thing was the distance to the carpark (5 mins walking distance) if carrying heavy suitcases.

Accommodation was beautiful, and the view was stunning from the terrace. The location was excellent. The restaurant was very good, the food was excellent.

Parking is a pain as you have quite a walk from the car park to your accommodation, with your cases. Breakfast arrangements were not made clear that we could help ourselves to fruit ect in the kitchen, and we were given a €4 each to use in a nearby restaurant, which consisted of a coffee and pastry, which we would of preferred Breakfast in one place.

The home was beautifully appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The decor was elegant and luxurious. The patio was breathtaking!
