In contrast to the nice hotel and room design, the bed and pillows were now exactly the most comfortable, this is a major negative observation. Pillows are as flat as towles. I could not find any international TV news channels. The parking in the hotel compound is not free for guests, it costs 12 € per vehicle/night.

Zlaty Dukat is a boutique style hotel, with its own personality vibe. It is as centrally located as it can be, its main entrance is right to the main street of Košice, close to most museums, such as East Slovak museum, and fancier bars and restaurants. St. Elisabeth Cathedral and the main theatre are situated a few minute walk away only. Elevator in the hotel is functioning well. The room is rather ample, with a decent size large TV screen, and very nicely separated bathroom in red colour. The bathroom is provided with slippers and a hairdryer. The parking entrance is from the side street, i.e. from Vrátna 16 street, which was well-explained in the advanced message from the hotel, with the name tag for each planned guest slot, the parking is very comfortable and completely secured by walls and gate. Breakfast is excellent, rich in quantity and quite diverse, with vegetables and fruits.

This is a very nice hotel, right in the centre of Košice. The room was very big and well heated. The bathroom was large and very clean. The breakfast was pretty good. The staff were friendly. My only complaints are very minor: there was no handrail for getting into/out of the bath to have a shower, and the shower head didn't tilt so you had to stand right up against the bath taps.

There was nothing extra which would make this exceprional. I hardly found anything to do inside the hotel.

I liked the location as it was absolutely in the central of the town. The interior of the room was not bad, same with the breakfast which was average but ok. The staff was flexible they were willing to give us new room when we asked for.

The original room I had overlooked a wall and I asked to be moved.

This hotel is in a great location, just a couple of hundred metres from the cathedral. But I think the best thing was the way the staff were so helpful…. The lady on reception went out of her way to solve minor issues like missing desk lights, broken key cards, which made the stay better. The restaurant staff at breakfast were very good as well.

I arrived late, parked my car in hotel garage (for a fee), but was not allowed to park it till 16h00 next day - just till 14h00. It was completely empty when I left, and I had to pay for parking outside the hotel....

When you’re booking it says you must reserve the parking space. We wrote the hotel that we would like to book the place-no replay .. at the reception we were informed they dont have our reservation because the parking place is full, but we were directed to another parking space owned by the hotel just a little bit away /same prize, with gate/. The problem was the parking place isnt marked so we couldnt find it and if it werent for some lovely stuff from another hotel we would have not found it. I specificly booked a double bad and not two ones … but when we came to the room it has two ones.. we didint complain just push them together…

Location is the main advantage of the hotel, rooms were big, aircondition was working, the breakfast were great /I am affraid that if you are czech you woudnt like it because it hadnt had so many choices as a turkey all inclusive/ for us, every morning was with little changes the same but it was delicious … The rooms were big, we have no view whatsoever from our room but that was no issue. the main floor is modern but the first and second floores looks a little bit on the old side.
