How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewI like the welcoming and the efficiency of the receptionist giving all information and clearly explain all details and ready to give information. Room was clean and a small balcony. Take breakfast near the river quietly and peacefully. Well located near of historic centre.

Verified reviewThe location of the hotel was by the river which is nice and quiet. It is also 2 minutes walking distance to the mall and few restaurants so the very handy.
Unfortunately this hotel says its 4 stars but it is not, here are a few things that surprised me... - There is a sauna and a pool advertised - but when we wanted to use the pool we were told its a cooling pool for the sauna users. Which made 0 sense. - There is a physical key that you need to use to lock and unlock your doors - but the issue was the huuge keychain that was heavy and bulky - Breakfast, had second day cereal, and hardly any choice (scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, cheese), so if you're vegetarian it will be tough to eat. They also did not bring out clean cups often enough so we did not have anything to put tea into. - In my room specifically, the pipedrain in the shower was not cleaned out recently as i showered for a minute and the entire tub filled up with water making my bathroom completely wet. - The light in the rooms is so yellow its almost impossible to see anything the second it gets dark - People in the cafe outside have a great direct view to your balcony - so heads up

I did not really understand the concept of the wellness. The door was closed. The stuff opened it, but she mentioned the water is cold. How? It was about 23 celsius. Big and cold for a wellness pool but little for a swimming pool. A pool which is nit good for anything. No problem i try the sauna. WAIT: you have to pay for it. I decided do not use it at all.

Verified reviewThe hotel is superbly located for quick access to the town centre yet in a quiet natural environment right by the river. The atmosphere is very cosy, we spent a great amount of time on the terrace above the river where good breakfast, lunch and dinner were served. Our room was spacious, clean and the large double bed exceptionally comfortable. Definitely recommend this place for short stays or family events and will definitely be back next year!

Small street in front of the hotel, didn't expected traffic, but I was wrong. At 05:00 a clock first truck!! with mounted trash container past a bumpy road, which woke me up. And this was not an exception, they drive permanently because it's probably a short cut to a recycling company. Suggestion to get a room to the river side view. That should solve it. TV no foreign program

Verified reviewThe room was very cozy and looking good. The receptionist was extremely nice and professional although we moved out later than it was allowed. It is good that we also could check in by ourselves later at night.
We arrived at 10 p.m. and wanted some tea, but there were no tea pot and cups. So we went to the restaurant inside the hotel for some tea. Restaurant was serving some banquet and was up to be closed when we asked for tea. The barrista took 2,5 euro per cup of bad atomatized tea, served in damaged cup with dirty spoon. I do not think it is 4 star hotel level.and it is not OK not to have opportunity to drink tea at night. In the morning we went for breakfast to the restaurant and the food was just OK. It looked like the food served was not enough for the guests who came to eat.
