Cozy hotel with excellent location, near the old city center and with a stunning view on Bratislava Castle. Hotel provides delicious breakfast.

The hotel is lovely in great location.

We stayed here few years back and were looking forward to our return. Unfortunately our dietary requirements due to allergies were not dealt with to our satisfaction and we skipped the breakfast. I emailed your helpdesk before our arrival to enquire about our dietary requirements and didn’t find the staff particularly helpful with this problem. For the price of breakfast I’d expect wider range of vegan, in our case egg free and gluten free products (bakery). I wish I checked before booking, we would have chosen another hotel. I was also advised to call booking.com if I needed to amend our booking regarding breakfast what I believe in 2025 should be something I could have done over app, email or directly with reception.

Staff, breakfast, location

Absolutely fabulous hotel with so many facilities available. I enjoyed the bath and the bathrobe, the staff was very helpful and kind. We even got some guidance from them where to visit around the city! This was actually helpful, and me and a friend enjoyed our stay. And also check-out at 12:00, sauna and gym available, coffee machine in the room. Great experience!

Hard to name anything

Excellent stay at Falkensteiner Hotel Bratislava! The location is perfect, close to the old town and main attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always attentive to details. An ideal choice for a successful city break in Bratislava!

Great location, great breakfast, friendly staff

The hotel is incredibly well situated- we got the bus from Bratislava-Petrzalka and crossed the road- there it was! At the foot of the castle (and near some delicious restaurants) and across the road from the old town. Amazing. We were in a top floor room and had access to the lounge which was fantastic, and the view from our room was of the castle. The room was spacious with the most massive bathroom! The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English. We didn’t try the downstairs bar as we had access to the lounge but it was always occupied and the bartenders seemed very friendly!

There's a lot of relaxation space in the sauna area. Both women in the reception were very helpful and welcoming. The equipment and furniture are quite worn out, but everything works.

The bathroom wasn't cleared properly, there were some hairs left. Finnish sauna had 40% humidity with 95 degree celcius, which is way to high, it should be 10-15% max. It was impossible to breath there, unpleasant and quite unhealthy. I reported it to the reception, but nobody reacyed for a few hours. At spa balcony people are smoking cigarettes when you want to relax. Many guests are using sauna in swimming suit and in the evening there was a family sitting in full clothes, with their smartphones and a dog in sauna area and nobody from staff said anything. In hotel and sauna there's only a tap water provided, it has no juice or any electrolytes needed in the sauna. Alternatively, you can make a tea, but only in plastic cups, maybe there could be paper ones available.

Good clean place with lovely breakfast

Extraordinary breakfast, with anything one might ever want. As hotel breakfasts go, this is top of class. Professional, courteous staff who helped sort out a tricky travel/car problem with attention to detail and a drive to find a solution. Highly recommended.
