A great budget option in central Bratislava. One of the main attractions of the city - The Bratislava Castle is very closely located. The self-check-in was easy, and the overall feeling of the hostel area is nice. The rooms are a little dark with no windows, but it was okay for one night.

There's no access to natural light, so this might be a bit bothersome, but if you're using the room just to sleep, it's fine. There's not really a good isolation, so if neighbors are not respectful about noise, it could be a trouble.

To be honest, we booked a double room with private bathroom in Old Town Hostel only because this was the only available option during a very busy weekend in Bratislava (the AC/DC concert), that didn't cost a ridiculous amount of money. What we ended up with was actually ridiculously cheap and we weren't disappointed at all. The public space of the hostel is great, the location is perfect to explore the old part of the city on foot, close to shops, restaurants, etc., water pressure is good, room had AC.

The airconditioning was a lifesaver in summer. Very clean shower with good ventilation and decent water pressure. Comfy beds and clean soft towels. The room felt homey. The common areas were spacious and nice. There's a machine with basic necessities and snacks where you can pay with card. Cat cafe and convenience store literally nextdoor!

The window - there is no direct sunlight. It's stuffy inside, but there is air conditioning. Some things in the room require repair, but this was not a problem.

Room was a great, economical option in Bratislava. It's all done by 'self check-in' with no staff support avail, but the process to get in was fine. We didn't have any problems, but did see staff around in the morning which was nice. Lovely part of town. Eat at Four Seasons down the road -- amazing and lovely little bistro.

Only one problem for us was that there is no luggage storage (but it was written down in description so it wasn't a surprise).

Hostel is situated in a very good position, close to the castle and the old town. There is a supermarket next door. Lots of bars and restaurants near by. Clean and cosy.

The towels provided were very small... Kitchen facilities basic, but kettle, hob, fridge in working condition.

Good location, a short walk to the Old Town. Facilities were basic but sufficient. Showers were good. We were two 50+ guys staying for 2 nights, perfect for a short stay. We were cycling and the bikes were kept in our room, no problem.

No fresh air in the whole hostel, the rooms have no outside windows and you hear everything through the walls. The furniture and door to the bathroom were broken.

Every information was delivered, easy self check-in, the air condition worked. They made the most out of an almost uninhabitable building. Good for one night.

Near castle, clean, great contact with hostel personel, place for kids with sacks to lay on, private toilet, easy access. Everything we need for 1 night.

It was uncomfortable that the bathroom was out of the room, even though we had a private bathroom. The bathroom smelled bad.
