Reviews of Bratislava Castle Hill Apartment

Good position, nice garden and it has a free garage for the car. We were 5 people and we stayed for 2 nights. No complains, we stayed very comfy.

At the time of our stay, there were some issues with the garage door, slightly broken, but probably it has been repaired shortly after our departure.

Lovely spacious apartment close to castle. Big airy living room with great views over the city. Well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.

We had a perfectly wonderful time staying in Eva and Thomas’ Apartment in Bratislava. The apartment has a complete kitchen with stove and refrigerator. It is spacious and thoroughly modern. The lighting is good with windows that look out on all four sides. It is well situated near the castle- a five min walk with sidewalks all the way. A grocery store is a minute by car or a 6-7 minute walk. Eva and Tomas are kind and solicitous hosts, quick to meet our needs. Google map was a little off. The host immediately came when we called and got us straightened out. They speak perfect English. It is a one of a kind treasure. Let me explain why I say this. Driving up the hill from the castle neighborhood one could easily mistake the site for a green, vine-covered stone wall surrounding a flower-laden yard on a hill with a couple of garage doors set in the wall. What is behind the wall and greenery is a spacious and complete apartment, artfully executed and in a great location for visiting the Castle and other locations in the old town. The owner told us that we should go up and see the lawn and flower garden on the roof. We walked out the front door and turned to the right and walked up a gentle slope. We found that we were in a delightful garden spot with chairs, flowers and a lawn. We had no idea the night before that we sleeping in such an idyllic spot. They do not make houses this way where we come from. I realized that this had been a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you ever thought it would be great to spend a night in Bilbo Baggins’ “Bag End”, this might be the closest thing. I was delighted and rate it as the best place we stayed. If we return we will try to stay here again.

Very nice and clean apartment above the Bratislava Castle, everything was perfect! The Host, Eva is very kind, answered all questions, self check-in was available. We were on a bike tour and bicycles.could be stored in a safe garage. We loved the place!

Everything was just great. The apartment is very big and cosy, enough for five people. The privaten garage is very useful and there is nice view of Bratislava from the garden. You can also see a little bit of Danube. The hosts brother in law Martin was very friendly. The keysafe didn't work so Martin brought us the keys. The location is just perfect, 200 metres from Castle and 50 metres from troleybus stop with direct line to football stadium.

The apartment is located in a really nice part of town, in a quiet neighborhood but close to all attractions. It is well-equipped. This is one of the best apartments we've stayed in. A big plus is that parking is free and included with the apartment. We will definitely come again to spend a longer time here.

There is nothing that we didn't like.
