Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustriaA washing Line to hang wet clothes / towels would have been nice; but my biggest issue was that the Aircon is limited to 22 - 24C (or off). The upper limit should be a little warmer (until 25/26C). 24C is too uncomfortable to sleep. I would have preferred to just leave the windows open, but this is not possible without Fly screens.
Rooms were clean and well appointed, if a little far from where to drag the luggage. Shower pressure and hot water were great. Beds and rooms of a good size and pretty comfortable.

HungaryThe room with an extra bed is extremely small for two adults and a child, as is the bathroom. Before arrival, they shared some important information by email, but they left out the fact that free parking is available at the neighboring hotel (Bernardin). However, they didn't even want to let us in there at first. Check-in took about an hour and a half with the parking misery and the difficult task of carrying the luggage in. The bathroom amenities could be more extensive, I missed a cosmetic bag, a shoehorn, something like that.
The food was good, delicious, and there was a variety of dishes to choose from. The location is excellent

LatviaPreparation at the restaurant already for dinner was a little bit annoying when having late breakfast at 9.00. Registration fee for each person, was something I have never seen before. Very loud ventilation in the bathrooms, no option to switch off.
Great location, easy to walk to Piran and Portorož. Free parking. Room was nicely renovated, even got a double room. Shops and cafes all around, can easily find a place where to eat and rest.

It's in a super location, right on the coast between Piran and Portoroz with lovely walks along the promenade in each direction. The swimming pools are lovely. The food is plentiful and good.

SerbiaEverything was great, the room was warm and cozy, excellent location - hotel by the sea, great breakfast... We didn't use wellness center unfortunately but it also looked amazing. I'm satisfied. 🩷 The thing I dislike is that the reception of the Hotel Vile Park Premium didn't work, and we had to check in at the Histrion hotel which actually is no problem, but nobody bothered to warn me about that in advance or when I submited the time of our arrival.

HungaryPerfect location (Piran and Portoroz center is also reachable within 15 minutes walk). The Hotel itself is modern, clean and well equipped. The selection for breakfast and dinner is faboulos, at Christmas we had plenty of seafood, desserts from all around the world, chocolate fountain and even champagne. The pools are really good option to relax a bit. We loved staying there and we will definitely return!

SloveniaCheck in is late (at 15.00). In pictures family room looked like 1 big bed and bunk bed. But we got 1 big bed and 2 sofas which were really not comfortable and hard. Bathroom doors are made of tinted glass but you can still see inside.
Pools are near, great location. Great breakfast also with vegan options (soy milk).
