How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not that good soundproofing. Could hear them laugh im the room next door but not too bad.

The stairs to the upper floor are high and the metal handrail was impossible to hold because it was hot.
It was quite, comfortably, good quality for the price, free park space.

Unfortunately, the check-in procedure was a bit challenging. Since there was no 4G signal in the area, we couldn’t contact the host and had to make an international call. We had assumed we could just check our messages upon arrival, but we hadn’t considered the lack of internet. So be aware, make sure to save the entire check-in process before heading to the hotel.
A peaceful and quiet location, just five minutes from the Italian border. The rooms are calm, clean, and comfortable. There’s no TV, but honestly, you don’t need it. Perfect for a 1–2 night stay.

While basic setup is not a problem per se, it's a bit too basic. I would've appreciated at least some coffee machine, not necessarily in the room, but in the corridor (as the only shared space), and some vending machine. It's, like, very basic thing to have if you aim at car travellers staying for an overnight break. Alternatively, if you aim at guests that plan for a longer stay, the very basic setup is even more problematic (I can't imagine spending more than a day at this place). However, to finish on a positive note, I do recommend this place for an overnight break.
It's perfectly clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is beautiful, in a middle of a sleepy hamlet at the foot of a rocky hill, five minutes drive away from the highway, and half-an-hour drive from downtown Trieste. It's very basic, but a perfect sleepover place on a road trip.

The outside door code entry system seemed a bit erratic and I had to help some late night arrivals into the accommodation.
Lovely rural location in a quiet village. Room was modern and comfortable, quite small. Bottle of water provided. There is a nice restaurant a few km back in Italy in Jamiano called Drejce.

The bathroom is really small, the rooms are acutic so you can hear everything (someone was sonoring and we couldn’t sleep) also there is no kettle

The host is so kind and friendly! The room has absolutely absolutely everything, ithat required. Enough space to park a car next to the building, for me it was a place To sleep and continue driving, but I slept so calm and really enjoyed the facility!

Was staying at the room by Main door ..noisy..the door If left Open beeping all night Long !! A noise from floor below buzzing...No Kettle or Tea or Coffee and No Shop or Café for kms...small bed and room...shower was so small could hardly move in there to wash...Check in was a Nightmare took around half an hour to get into building....expensive for what you received
