Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

HungaryThe air conditioning only worked when the room key card was inserted, so during the day the room became unbearably hot (we stayed in mid-August). The room’s equipment was average, and several things no longer worked properly. The breakfast selection and variety were also average.
Wonderful surroundings, the thermal water swimming complex is well designed and very exciting for children, offering a full-day program.

SerbiaA serious complaint is the internet that was at the limit of usability and the refrigerator that was standing in the room on the small table instead of hidden in the place intended for it.
The stay at the hotel was only a stage on the journey from Zurich to Belgrade, so the SPA elements were only a really pleasant surprise and an addition to the general impression, which is very good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

IrelandBuilding works at the moment to create new hotel were a bit noisy early in themorning. However I would love to see it once it's completed. So it's more an observation rather than a dislike.
A fabulous location providing a peaceful and relaxing stay. Swimming pools and Wellness center were excellent. Food in restaurant very good and great value. Will definitely return.

LuxembourgIn the apartment: we had a first floor apartment and the bedroom window was directly next to the footpath leading to other first floor apartments, making leaving the window open pretty impossible. There is major building work going on - they are building a new hotel next to the Therme, so you need to take a 5 minute walk over a somewhat improvised bark-strewn path and down some building site stairs to reach the Therme and breakfast, so probably not ideal if you are not good on foot. The biggest disappointment was the Therme itself: when we arrived it was more or less impossible to really use the pool outside as there were children's swimming lessons taking up 3/4 of the space. Inside a 'water yoga' class was held, meaning a large part of the inside pool was also off limits. The Therme in general looks like it could do with an update: the tiles from the wardrobe to the pool are extremely slippery, same with the tiles outside. The bubble area directly in the water is awkward to use as there are no hand holds, so I just kept 'floating' out of it. The only whirlpool can only be reached by getting out of the water, climbing some stairs and crossing a small wooden bridge. It was more or less impossible to get a space in this pool. You also need to get out of the water and walk about 10m to use the outside pool. We were disappointed enough that we didn't bother using the Therme again, also because it constantly looked busy. So while the hotel was certainly good value and the staff was lovely I would not bother going to the Therme, it's more of a glorified swimming pool rather than a 'Spa' experience.
The Apartment was very spacious and very clean, the beds were comfortable and the location is quiet. The staff is very friendly and attentive and breakfast was good.

AustriaPrices in pool-restorant might be a little bit inflated. Chicken fillet alone (no side dish of any kind) 12,90 EUR + grilled vegetables (onion and paprika) 4,90 EUR. That was my only negative surprise for my visit.

SerbiaThey are currently building a new hotel next to the old one and there was no info about it before we made reservation. We were off season so the breakfast table was poorly replenished.

FinlandWhen booking, you are not informed that there is a construction site. It was noisy, even on weekends. The view of the construction site during your vacation was also not planned. The radiators in the room were periodically turned off, it was difficult to dry the towels. The backlighting of the water in the pool made us leave it urgently, because it did not look clean. And it is strange that you cannot use soap before and after visit SPA bath. Is it hygienic?
Location. Friendly reception staff.

United KingdomSadly, the room was poor. It was very cold and hadn't been heated up. The air conditioning unit didn't work at all and it took hours to heat up from the radiator once we arrived and turned it on. We hadn't been supplied large towels or extra blankets. It was quite dated but it seems they are currently building the new section of the hotel.
The pool facilities were lovely - there are 2 zones: the pool area and the smaller, more private sauna area. We were allowed unlimited use of the pool area and one entry to the sauna area. In the pool area, Friday night was calm (plus they had late swimming hours so were open until 22:00, which was great) but Saturday morning was extremely busy with no free space even to sit or lay a towel. The breakfast was delicious too, with a lot of choice.

HungaryThe restaurant is disappointing. They can cook pasta and salads but not meat. I believe they never heard about a beef steak. Medium rare? Never heard. Pepper souse? Let's put a lake of beef bullion on the plate. Don't look at the photos on booking.com. I think they took them from the photo stock. Most of them are fake or the restaurant saw better times. Breakfast was quite poor, but I hope it is because of the low season. Since there are no other restaurants nearby, be ready to be eating there during your staying or find any other place in advance.

United StatesThe check-out time of 10:00 AM is a little too early and I wish I could have stayed in my room until 11:00 AM to relax and enjoy my morning in the Slovenian countryside a little longer.
Despite checking in a little late, I had the good fortune of arriving at Eco Terme Snovik on a night in which Night Swimming was available late into the evening. The staff on site helped me find my room, gave me suggestions on local Slovenian dishes I could enjoy from the restaurant on site, and even sold me some wonderful locally made souvenirs at wonderful prices. The health resort at Eco Terme Snovik was an absolute paradise, in which I was able to enjoy a late evening swim in their thermal waters and relax in their World of Saunas after a long day of sightseeing in Ljubljana. The staff at the Front Desk was friendly and professional, the staff at the restaurant on site was attentive and willing to help me chose drinks and dishes that I would enjoy, and the location of the resort - on the foothills of the Slovenian Alps - made for the perfect getaway to relax and be at one with nature. I really liked that my overnight stay included two admissions to the thermal waters in the price and that a delicious breakfast had also been included in the rate that I paid.

HungaryThe big pool area doesn’t have a sauna, so if you want to go to a sauna, you have to buy it extra for 10 euros (or 11 if you want to enter the spa area twice/day).
The location is beautiful. It’s out in the hills, beautiful surroundings, quiet only the sound of the little creek can be heard. The apartment is spacious, was perfectly fitting for 3 people. It was clean, the kitchen contained everything we needed. The staff was nice, hardworking and kind people. The price includes two entrances per day to the big pool area, which is situated a few minutes walk from the apartments. And once you decide to pay for it, the spa (sauna, turkish bath, small warm bath) is excellent, quiet, and you are offered fruits there and can spend they day there if you wish.

SloveniaTe room we stayed in was very small and it had not been properly cleaned before our arrival (stain on the floor, a lot of dust and some spider webs). The staff was generaly friendly, but they should have offered to clean the room or even switch it after our complaint to the reception.
The location and surroundings of the accomodation are wonderful, with a lot of possibilites for active holidays - hiking, jogging or just relaxing in nature. The pool and spa were very clean and tidy with new facilities, and the restaurant offered good food a la carte. Breakfasts were good, with a lot of food to choose from, but unfortunately diinners, included in the half-board, were very basic and a bit generic.
