Nina is a fantastic host and was very helpful. She did a wash for me for the very reasonable price of 5 euros, when I asked for her help to book a taxi to go to the train station she offered to give me a lift instead, which was lovely. The Lake Bohinj area is perfect for walking, cycling, visiting the gorge and waterfalls, plus cable car. The village of Brod is tiny, very quiet and conveniently located on the cycle path.

Bear in mind that the kitchen facilities are small, with just a fridge, a sink and two electric hobs. There's plenty of crockery and a table for two to eat at inside. When all three rooms are in use there can be up to seven people in total. Something to bear in mind if you are catering for yourself. Also, if you normally sleep with the window open, you may encounter a cock crowing in the early hours of the morning.

The owner is wonderfully kind, helpful, and always smiling, and made us feel truly at home. She was there to welcome us and was eager to give us suggestions. Parking is conveniently located right next to the house. The location is lovely, and the view is spectacular.

The room was quite small and warm, and the fan was loud. We opened the window during the night for some fresh air, but that let in a few mosquitoes, and from around 3am a rooster next door started crowing. All of this made it difficult to sleep.

We spent there only one night before couple of days up in mountains and for that purpose it was perfect. Owner was very nice and did everything to help us. For the same purpose anytime again.

Loved the friendly house with other travellers. Its was good quality spacious in the rooms, modern enough and very clean. Outdoor seating to share with mountain was perfect.

Very small shared kitchen, meant we took it in turns. Steep stairs made us cautious. Both minor points in a lovely stay.

The location was wonderful- a very short distance from Lake Bled and Slap Savica. There were many things to do in the area. The hostess, Nina, was very kind and accommodating, and made us feel welcomed. She was excellent with communication as well!

Nina was a wonderful host. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The area around the place is gorgeous and easily connected to the lake by bus or bike path. I would recommend this place to a friend!

Location is good, host is nice and friendly. You can swim in the river close by.

Stairs to the rooms are quite steep. Equipment in the kitchen could be better. We were lucky that only one person was staying in the house with us, so we managed with the shared bathrooms without any issue.

thank you for the host to let me know about the nearest bus stop (Savilla Vas) when asked - fast message responses waited for my check-in (and cash payment) even I was late to the place the place is clean

* the bed in single room is not a steady one and the mattress had a gap in the middle (it's a sofa bed?) - not comfortable to sleep on * Julian alps card purchase is not applicable even staying for 3 days * not the place's fault - but the bus is so unstable near Savilla Vas station that I had to checkout the day before because I cannot risk a delayed schedule to Ljubliana after my stay may be I was just unlucky but the place may not be suitable for travellers not driving as seems the bus stop is not a common station even for bus drivers 1. on evening of my arrival, bus drivers has skipped the bus stop even I showed him the bus station name on phone & paper and reminded him in previous one station 2. another time in the morning even I had waited at the bus station 15 minutes earlier than schedule and seeing the bus passed by even I waved hard (I'm the only person waiting at that station). and it's frustrating as the bus is an hour apart and hard to walk to lake area after the bus skipped the station 3. when I tried to return to house after lake visit, the scheduled bus was skipped as whole station of people waiting for it I have reflected to the host to seek for any advice and seemed she did not believe in me - insisting the bus is well-scheduled (even it's true in normal days) and said may be I just saw a school bus passed by (hell no). and only concerned about room payment (I have never missed it even I checked out early in a rush)

The best accommodation we could have asked for! Our stay was absolutely exceptional! The place was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped, located in a beautiful setting — but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our host, Nina. She was incredibly kind, generous, and attentive, always eager to help and make us feel welcome. Her warm hospitality and thoughtful touches made all the difference, and we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely caring and dedicated to her guests. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation — not only for its quality but above all for the amazing person behind it. Thank you, Nina, for making our stay so special! I loved the location. Quiet surrounded by nature. Small village. Walking distance to the lake. On a walking cycling path. The host Nina is a star. It is in a very beautiful little village, it's calm enough to sleep with an open window,

It's required to pay in cash. Although we were in touch on Whatsapp before our arrival, we weren't reminded (or told, but they said its written here on booking), so it was a little of an ordeal and disturbance to our holiday. Since I've written this review, the owners contacted me on whatsapp to express their disappointment with it. Well, im sorry, the place is nice and clean, but you do need to pay in cash - I also have not received any payment confirmation or receipt.

Nina was a wonderful host. I could ask her any question and she made sure to gave me very useful advice! I loved her restaurant recommendations and her immediate support in any situation! The house is well located and has beautiful views. The kitchen has everything one needs. It might be a better option for those travelling by car but it's definitely doable if you come by public transport. Everything is possible to reach within walking distance! Especially on a personal level, I felt very wholesome and welcome. Thanks so much :)

The room was very charming, well-decorated, and had everything we needed. The two bathrooms were spacious and well-equipped. The location is in a lovely town. If you want to take advantage of the shuttle system or bus, it's only a short walk to Savica (less than 10 minutes). There's a small kitchen which is handy as there aren't places to eat in that particular town (but nearby there are more - especially if you have your own transportation). The bike paths around the area are great and offer beautiful views, and we walked home one evening from Bohinj as we were between shuttle times and the landscape is quite beautiful. There is an option to do your laundry here as well if you ask which we weren't aware of until our check-out date. The host was accommodating to work with our schedule for the check-in and very friendly. As stated on Booking, you will need to bring cash to pay for your accommodation. Parking is available as well.

Our room was beside the kitchen which could be a bit loud although that's only when guests are cooking or doing the dishes as there isn't much of a common area.
