How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The host was really nice and warm-hearted. The rooms were spacious with necessary things in the kitchen. We were given cold water and milk. There was a big bathroom. Everything was clean and handy. It was a great stay, the only drawback was that we spent there only one night. So do not hesitate and go to this place!

We had an exceptional stay at SEDAMI in Maribor – everything exceeded our expectations! The hosts, Milan and Darja, are absolutely wonderful people: very welcoming, attentive to details, and always ready to help with useful information about the area. We felt at home from the very first moment. The place is spotless, fully equipped, and tastefully decorated. Everything is thoughtfully arranged for the guests' comfort – from the cozy beds and the fully equipped kitchen to the beautifully landscaped garden, perfect for relaxing. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation! Thank you, Milan and Darja, for your warm hospitality – we will definitely return with great pleasure! ❤️

The owner is incredibly kind and helpful with everything. The apartment was very clean and had all the equipment you might need. It's located in a quiet area and easy to find. I highly recommend it!

Everything was perfect! The owner was very nice and helpfull. I have read one comment from the previous guests, that said that the apartment was cold , when they arrived. Absolutely opposite . It was very warm comfortable and extremely clean. I recommend this apartment 100 % We will deffinitely come back

We especially liked the kindness of our host, who was always very attentive even though we only stayed one night to rest, being in transit. The cleanliness and freshness of the space were superb! I warmly and confidently recommend this property!

The host was super nice. He welcomed us and showed us around. The apartment itself was very clean and new. Everything was well equipped and you had everything you would ever need. We only stayed for one night but it would be great for longer stays as well. Definitely recommend :)

Everything was perfect! Milan was a very friendly and welcoming host. The flat was modern, comfy, beautiful and very clean. It offers anything you need, even for a longer stay. We couldn't ask for anything better for our one - night stay in Maribor. Big recommendation :)

Very nice appartment, with quality furnishings and a great, modern batroom. Very clean and confortable, very quiet place at night. Our host, Mr Milan was very hospitable, frendly and hepfull, and the milk and coffee he provided came in well, since we arrived late and left early in the morning after a good night sleep. Totaly recomand it for longer stays, since it is such a lovely and confy place.

The only thing I would say to people is they have to be confident at parking their vehicles as the driveway is a little tight.
SEDAMI is a great little apartment 5 minutes away (by car) to the centre of Maribor. It is super clean and the host was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were a party of 2 adults and 2 children, we stayed 1 night on our way to Croatia. The apartment was very comfortable and super clean. The bed was comfortable and so too was the sofa bed. Thanks you to the hosts.

The apartment is located in a very quiet area, a few minutes by car from the city center. It is new, very well furnished and absolutely clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The apartment is equipped with TV, stereo and fast internet connection (both wired and wireless). A big thanks to Milan, probably the most friendly host I've ever met.
