If you want aroom with a view then this is not it.

At possibly the best location in Maribor, but because of where the rooms are it is actually very quiet. And the room was very newly renovated. Beautiful in an old builiding.

The check-in for us was confusing. There is a door from the street with a simple code to unlock it, but it was always unlocked during our stay. Then there is another door in the courtyard where you have to enter the room code. Press the buttons firmly and then press the unlock button. Then repeat the process when you get to the room keypad. All the codes are received via messages in the Booking app.

The rooms were quiet, clean, tidy and functional. The shared bathroom was clean, large and lockable.

Having a minifridge and some cutlery to be used might have been nice! Otherwise a great stay.

PERFECT location - in the street of some very good restaurants and bars (and no noice at night even though in the very center!). Good value for money. They let us leave our bag after check out so that we could visit the city; very helpful!!

There are four rooms as the name suggests, all with shared bathroom facilities. The most amazing part of the hostel is its location: you are on the most lively street of Maribor, lots of people on street terraces enjoying life. Just taking a slice of pizza and drinking a beer or two. The contrast between out- and inside couldn't be bigger. The rooms are white painted, clean, valved basements rooms and silent. Wonderful. The friendly host Gregor is often there when people arrive, which gives a personal touch. The bathrooms are with steps everywhere, so watch out. Basic, but in its location outstanding. The breakfast at the neighbour's place Isabella was very good. I appreciated the possibility to leave my luggage at the hostel and do a day Maribor.

Weak sound-proof between rooms, so you hear everything the next-door says and when they check in/out. Lighting in the room is a bit too dim, and some rooms may not have a desk.

Location is very central with plenty of good food options (even for holidays and sundays) just outside the accommodation. Hidden in the courtyard and next to the post office parking lot, the hotel is basically super quiet after office hours. Check-in instructions (all by PINs) are very clear, and staff will come do the introductions as well. And they response to queries/requests rather quickly.

No plug or water pressure for the bath tub which was slightly disappointing. No remote for the TV. The mattresses are memory foam - which don’t really suit my sensitive back, buts that’s my problem!

The location simply cannot be bettered. Directly in the centre of Maribor with all bars, cafes, shops, restaurants no more than a couple of minutes away on foot. Buscarisjia opposite is amazing. I was extremely lucky as due to it being off-season I had the entire hostel to myself - not a single other guest! The place has character and everything was super clean. The hosts Tina and Gregor could not have been more helpful and accessible.

Believe the property was listed as having an air conditioner although that wasn't the case. There may be an air conditioner in the main room, which I'm not sure if it worked. Though the rooms definitely get hot at night.
