The bathroom in my room needed a really good clean.

The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is excellent. Hotel is in a convenient location near the main Ljubliana to Zagreb motorway.

Very conveniently located — in a quiet area, yet close to the main road. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner was truly outstanding! If you have the time, be sure to try dinner at the hotel restaurant. The beds are comfortable, and we slept very well.

The facilities are very clean, close to the highway, in a village aside. The staff is very nice. The restaurant is preferred by locals as it was quite busy on Saturday evening.

Only road behind the apartment is a bit noisy.

Staff is amazing, very clean and comfortable. Food is fresh and delicious. Parking is huge, wifi perfect.

The extremely professional and kind staff and the out of this world quality of the restaurant food and breakfast. The room was perfectly clean with a spacious bathroom and excellent powerful shower. A bug screen would be a good addition as we would have preferred some fresh air overnight for a better sleep. Pale English skin attracts the night time insects so we kept the patio door closed. It was a truly wonderful place, Slovenia is a stunning country, and we would love to return some day to your excellent hospitality. Thank you.

I really liked the warm welcome from the waiter/owner, the warm hospitality, very clean room. The breakfast was excellent the next morning. The day pf the arrival i had a dinner at the restaurant - it was amazing. Would definitely recommend the stay at the hotel 🙈

After a long day of driving in the rain this hotel was a welcome surprise! Right off the highway, plenty of parking for my trailer, excellent meal and very nice bed and fast Wi-Fi. Do not hesitate to stay. Great spot

I cannot say that everything is brand new. But those are small details. Geberal impression is of a very stylush and taken care of place. Breakfast would not have eggs (thiugh it has the most delicious salmon and bread).

Everything made with love. Knitted flowers, l’occitane cosmetics, tastiest tomatos in my life, jakuzzi bath in a room. Free upgrade to a much better room. A donkey and a goqt that look like they are living their best lives. Every small detail is taken care of. Delicious dinner and breakfast.

We arrived very late and the kitchen was closed, may be some options for snacks or fruits will be good for late visitors.

Fantastic breakfast, very quiet place for staying, friendly personnel! One of the best kitchen from my previous experience and the bar was also great.

We missed the hotel name plate in the darkness and arrived at the back of the hotel according to the Google directions. Will be good the plate to be lit. All the rest was just fine for the price paid.

We arrived after midnight, and the host arranged our accommodation smoothly. We stayed only for the night, but we took proper rest in the spacious room, the bathroom was equipped with a hydromassage tube. The breakfast was on self-service with enough choice of food. The parking was big enough to accommodate all the guests' cars.

It’s a little tucked away, but worth the effort.

The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent, both for service and quality of cooking. Location very near Ljubljana-Zagreb motorway makes it an attractive stopover.

A little fridge would have been nice when travelling but we didn’t miss it that much.

We loved our stay at hotel Rakar on our way to Kroatia. The staff was super friendly, room was well equipped, breakfast was excellent and our daughter loved the animals.
