How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It was a bit noisy, and we could hear people on the floor above us walking around from 8 am. While we didn't intend to sleep in, this was a bit annoying.
Small, quiet hotel not far from the city and the main road. Very easy checking process with digital keys, convenient and fast if you are tired and just want to jump and bed and sleep.

Location is not ideal but in front of the hotel is the bus station. If you don't mind travelling by a bus I would recommend this place!
The room was really nice and clean. The parking and WI FI were great.

Nothing negative, really. Perhaps glasses for drinks were missing.
It's location is exactly what I needed. Large parking in front of the building. Room is small, but it has all you need: shower, TV, air-conditioner, toiletries in the bathroom...

There is no elevator in the hotel, which is a problem with heavy luggage.
Nice hotel, trouble-free communication, parking in front of the hotel. Kind and friendly staff, delicious local breakfast and a quiet room, despite the close proximity to a busy street.

My room had no closet and no place to hang your coat on. Also the bed was very soft and felt like it had developed a sinkhole in the middle.

The location was convenient and room clean, yet small as is listed. We were greeted with kindness and check in/out was easy. The private parking was convenient with a large lot. We recommend booking the larger room if you like a little space to move around easily and store luggage.

No coffee machine in the lobby. The washroom was extremely tiny (see photo). Barely enough room for one person, thankfully we're not obese. The hotel is situated between a very busy roadway and rail line. There's "almost" no restaurants or shopping within walking distance except for a small outdoor gostilna across the roadway. There's no elevator as well. This is not a destination spot.
We had to leave too early to have the breakfast, but the hotel location was convenient since we had to get to the airport first thing in the morning. The room and hotel were clean, tidy and up to date. Thomas, the desk manager was very helpful and informative. He gave us "seniors" a hand with our large suitcases.

It is on a very busy road. It doesn’t have an elevator and it’s not child stroller friendly. It doesn’t offer a baby crib.
It was much cheaper than most properties in Ljubljana. It was very clean and it had daily room service. It had plenty of free parking.

The hotel is right on the road but with the windows closed you’ll hear nothing of the outside noise.
Nice and very comfortable room, even though relatively small. Very good breakfast and super helpful personnel.

I found the amount of digital information/procedures required - Check in etc - a bit overwhelming. We were concerned as we were not able to complete our check-in on line as per our pre arrival email. International travelers do not always have local cell service, data plans etc. and some of us did not grow up with cell phones and computers. Surely there could be options to QR codes etc.
The accommodation was great. The fellow on the desk was very patient and helpful with suggestions for restaurants etc. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet.

We have received only one key which opens both entry door to the building and room. Very difficult for two people.
Nice location, easy to reach city center. Easy parking. Small but clean rooms.

Room staff to pay attention when the soap container is empty to refill it. Maybe to provide a fridge in the room would enhance the accommodation

A/c turned off all the time and didn’t work well, bed wasn’t very comfortable, shower made a mess because it doesn’t have a curtain, bathroom door handle was broken

No lift, but for an older building, what can you do. Breakfast could have done with labels on what the items were.
Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and very clean. Staff were very good and provided restaurant recommendations.

No lift..my fault should have checked. No tea bags or coffee sachets.
Close to bus stop. Good variety for breakfast. Lots of parking area.
